  1. From personal experience, I say buy the dress that will fit you now. If something happens and you don't loose the weight, you don't want to get stuck with 2 dresses that won't work and have to scramble at the end. Most places tell you to plan 6 months before the wedding to buy your dress so you can get it in, have alterations done, etc. You might want to check and see if Bonny offers rush delivery and what the charge is. Otherwise, by the end of November early December you should order your dress. Also by that time, you might be able to see how your diet is going and have a better idea of what size to order.
  2. Ohhh, how about your favorite 80's song? Morgan She'll blind you with Science... This could be wayyyy too much fun!
  3. You will look so pretty on your big day! The flowy part will be really pretty on the beach.
  4. Thanks ladies. It's been better because I did sit him doan and tell him to quit. I also told he that I would not be treated in that manner and if he kept it up, I wouldn't respond because I wasn't going to acknowlege that kind of behavior. He started a couple of times over the weekend and I just didn't talk to him. I think he's started figuring it out. I'm taking the "treat him like a kid" approach.
  5. At the bottom of your screen on the left is a box that tells you, you get 1 point for reading, 5 points for responding, and 10 for starting a new thread. To answer some of your questions, do a search (top of the screen on right). You can also just browse the Jamaica section for ROR and read the Wedding Reviews from the ROR. They best way to earn points is to participate, so just start reading! If you have more specific questions, feel free to ask.
  6. Becks, you might have stumbled onto something here. "Rocket Scientist" could be your next title. I'll be "Space Cowboy" and Morgan can be "Gangster of Love" Would those be occupations or just Steve Miller lyrics?
  7. Oooh that sounds good! Erin-zilla sounds dumb. I think we should make Friday official Bandwagon Day. It gives us time to fully enjoy the *licious*ness or whatever. Not being able to get on over the weekend is seriously throwing me off! I feel so out of touch!
  8. LOL, It so creeps me out! But I had to post...
  9. I think Kitty-Shark could take TIger-Bunny.
  10. Ooh Rachel, you can be member*licious! Ok, maybe not. It is a tad porn*o*licious sounding. Becks- snark*a*licious is fun, but I did read that very quickly and thought it said SHARK*a*licious. I was hoping to find a fun avatar pic to go with that!
  11. A thread was started in hopes to discuss the historical relevance of having a minority on each ticket in the up coming election. Things took a bad turn and personal attacks were starting to be made (from multiple members) as the topic shifted away from the OP's intent. The forum rules are very specific in stating that disruptive/harassing behavior is a no-no. I think the thread must have been closed. It is a shame since we can discuss everything else here in a respectful manner.
  12. I think "hot sauce" as salsa is a Texas thing. My MOH is from Amarillo and we stayed with her family one summer. I noticed the hot sauce thing! Here and in the deep south it refers to Tabasco.
  13. Our remote is the clicker. I think I might be a little crazy, but my friends and I tend to name inanimate objects (cars, furniture, etc...) So, we call the remote "clicky". As in "What did you do with Clicky? I can't believe you lost him again!" ---- I also love regional cuss words! Some of the ones you hear around here are even funnier because of the accent. Most of these are from older people, but I can't help but giggle every time! My favorites are "Shit Fire!" courtesy of BM's grandma "Well Hell's Bells!" and "Tarnation!" I don't know what tar-nation is but her typical usage is "what in tarnation is goin' on over there?" Oh, and Dag-Nabbit. I'm sure they are all ways of not saying GD. She also always said "Icebox" or "Frigidaire" instead of fridge or refrigerator

I used to tell a friend of mine that if we weren't married by 30, the two of us would go to Antigua and tie the knot! LOL
  15. What a cutie! We are thinking of getting a new dog before the end of the year. Our new house has a fenced yard, but it doesn't connect with the house. We figured if we have to walk one dog, why not walk 2?
  16. Halloween is my second favorite holiday, in close standings with St. Pattys Day. I vote for coffin invites. I think you could even DIY! Be sure to post pics of the house!
  17. Yeah Kathie! I'm so excited for you! I hope your big day is even better than you imagined. I know it will be beautiful! I can't wait to see the pictures and hear all of the details!
  18. I vote for 1 or 4. BOth of those are unique, the others are a little plain. I love magnets! most STDs go on the fridge anyway, so why not make it easy?
  19. That's not that bad. Probably my most embarassing slip up...Let me preface this by saying I have terrible eye-sight! I am probably legally blind without glasses or contacts. So, I see an old guy friend from high school. He moved away to college, so I hadn't seen him in about 6 months. Well, I go running up to this man and slap him on the ass! Too bad I didn't get a good look at his face first, before leaning in to kiss him, it was the wrong guy!!!! The girl next to him was also pretty surprised and a little pissed! OOPS!
  20. Well, when I was really little, I wanted the Steel Magnolia wedding...My colors would have been blush and bashful because pink is (still) my signature color! LOL I actually had about 5 weddings planned, all dependant upon the groom and his personality, by the time I was 18. I really wanted a Southern Living style wedding on a family estate, too bad neither myself or DH have a family estate! So, the beach was our best option!
  21. OOOHHH... Have you ever had Italian Nachos? Johnny Carinos and Macarroni Grill used to have them. It's fried pasta dough that maked little fluffy pillow chips, marinara and alfredo sauce, italian sausage, fresh parmesan, fresh basil, chopped tomatoes, olives, and pepperoncini. Talk about fatty fabulous delicious-ness! It's the best of both worlds! I'm craving some right now!

  23. WHOO HOOO! I'm part of the Club*a*licious-ness now!
