Stacey, I'm so sorry she's putting you through this. I say ignore her completely. Don't give her the satisfaction of knowing she upset you. Kill her with kindness if you run into her at the resort. If she does try to do something, she will definietly look like she is in the wrong (which she is), I think it was mentioned before, but I would tell the WC to tell security to keep her away from your ceremony and reception.

Casey - don't worry. If you over-think the situation, it will just make it worse. I personally have no problems with strip clubs or porn. I am very comfortable with sexuality (unless it gets into weird kinky shit! LOL) For some reason this is a "rite of passage" and you just need to accept and move on. The reality of the situation is that 1) the girls are no where near as pretty to him as you are. I know that the few times Mike has gone, he tells me "You would look so hot in that outfit..." 2) Nothing can happen. He can't touch the girls. 3) He will probably be extremely drunk. For Mike's BP, all of the guys went to the strip club and he slept in the car. I think he went in for a few minutes, but got bored and left. I can understand that it is a weird feeling, but being accepting makes you that much more in his eyes and in the eyes of his friends.

I love Halloween! Any excuse to dress like a ho! I don't know if we will go out this year or not. DH isn't a big fan of going out or crowds, so getting him to dress up is a little tricky. Usually the girls and I just go out. I want him to be a jockey, or a ballerina, or an oompaloompah. Only because he is 6'5" and 375#! How funny would that be!

I'm so sorry! There are some crazy people out there. I'd try to talk calmly with your dad about what happened. I agree with Celina that he probably thought he was doing the right thing and got stuck in the middle. Now if he thinks you would crash your ex's wedding, then you can be mad at him. LOL

Go for the Katie then! If you don't like it, what's the worst that can happen? You can get a new cut or let it grow out. No big deal. I would probably go for a thinner bang, but that's just me. Either way, you know you have to post pictures.

Could you bring a catered lunch in? That would be a little fancier and tastier than gift basket food. My other suggestion would be a white elephant gift...something totally hideous, just for laughs. oooh, you could do one of those gift exchanges, Chinese auctions?, where each person gets a number then chooses a gift, and you have the opportunity to steal. I know it's not uber professional, but we did it with the faculty and deans when I worked for the university and they got vicious! It was fun to watch.

Rachel, could you see if a massage therapist could come in one afternoon and offer chair massages? No one would have to disrobe and it might be a nice mid-day pick me up. I think they are usually 10-15 minutes long.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but for packing purposes, I would wind each strand around a toilet paper or paper towel tube so they don't get all jumbled together.

Wait, there's such thing as Bosses Day? I haven't gotten nearly enough gifts! LOL I like the idea of a spa certificate or desk garden. I just read something about how having a plant on your desk acts as a natural air filter and removes some percentage of pollutants...I guess reading more carefully would have made that a better comment

I think Courtney aka Agape Gems made hers for her wedding at ROR. I thought about doing it but ran out of time. You use fishing line and silk blossoms. I think you just pop the centers out, thread the flower onto the line, then put the center back in with some hot glue.

I like the look of the Katie, but I think it would be a little complicated. I think the Jeannie would be the most practical. The Nicole bangs might be in yours eyes all the time. I have super thick hair that doesn't like to follow directions, so I'm probably not the best one to ask! I am getting my hair cut today and meant to post something similar. I'm really thinking of doing something drastic! I get a wild hair every few years and chop it all off. I cut 6" before the wedding. Now I don't know how short I want to go...

I don't know that color really matters. As Anna said, typically the Bride's mom chooses first. It would be nice to let each of them know so they don't end up wearing the same thing, though the odds of this happening are slim. You might want to assign them a color or give each an option. I asked all of our guests to wear something in a shade of blue or sand/champagne, to follow an ocean pallet. Of couse my stepmom wore a black and red dress, but whatever....LOL
