    Congratulations! I'm sure that's a big weight off your shoulders! When I bought my dress it started to feel real. We're getting married at the end of June so we'll be sweating too! But hey, we're on the beach in paradise so how bad can it be?

    I've seen similar things done with flowers. (I'm a caterer so I'm at a lot of weddings!) At the start of the aisle there were large pails of white flowers and each guest chose one and added it to a green arrangement on the altar before the ceremony. The priest then went on to say how we are influenced by those who love us to make us a unique being...It was beautiful and needless to say I cried. I think doing the same thing with sand would be a great way to make all of your guests feel special and a part of the ceremony!

    I think if you go for it you need to get Save the Dates out now. A lot of people I know take a vacation every year that weekend. Some people may have already made plans. FI's brother is getting married Memorial Day weekend and we had to change our standing "begining of summer lake house party" plans.

    Great list! I have one on my website for guests but yours is much more detailed! I am planning on putting together a packet and mailing it to all those who are traveling with us about a two weeks before the wedding. I want to include a page about what to expect at the airport (we have to take a bus to the hotel), the hotels activites, a restaurant list with descriptions, a listing of group activites and events, and the packing list. Anyone who has an extra bag will have to forefit it to me!

    That is an option or your could do them the day after. I'll probably do any that I can without my FI before the ceremony so it won't take forever afterwards.

    Yeah! I still have 2 payments to go. We booked a contract for the entire group so my next payment is like $17.000! Of course the guest payments will go to that but it is scary to have that much money attached to your name!

    Maura I'm so sorry! I'd be going through the roof if I were you. Will the hotel let you have a Catholic ceremony? I know that we could have arranged it at our resort in Jamaica. Is there another church nearby? Maybe the hotel could let you use the ballroom so you could set up an altar. At least it would be air-conditioned! The money you save could be used to make the room pretty. I'll send you happy thoughts while you work everything out. Keep us posted!

    Sure cute! I'm thinking that would make a wonderful after-party dress. I might have to steal your idea! I know what you mean about your legs. I'm really self conscious because I'm short and I think they are squatty. As long as you are confortable I say go for it! You can always return the dress to Nordstrom if you don't like it, unlike some other places.

    Good Luck Crissy! You can do it! I've had wonderful success with sparkpeople.com. The nutrition calculator is great! I know that site is free. I'm not sure about WW. So far I've lost 10 pounds in about 3 weeks, not even exercising regularly!

    I've lost 10 pounds this month! Too bad I totally pigged out this weekend and probably put them all back on! My goal is to walk/jog/crawl/drag my body across the finish line in a half marathon at the end of April. I've got to get better about sticking to my training schedule. Looks like we might have to join a gym because of the crappy weather. 4 miles tonight! Wish me luck!

    Target is the greatest place on earth! Mine also has a Starbucks in it! I can't walk out of there without spending at least $50! I bought my and FIs bathing suits. They are turquoise and aqua to match our wedding colors. I am totally obsessed! After christmas I bought all of the blue ornaments so I can have a wedding color tree! I'm out of control! I also bought the best cover-ups! Seriously, 3 of them! They are the wonderful jersey knit strapless dresses in both short and long. I'm really trying to avoid tan lines since my dress is strapless and we're getting married at the end of the week!

    I turn red too, my cheeks especially! I'm not in great shape but even when I was I would walk out of the gym looking like a tomato. I do have fair skin so I'm guessing that's why...
