We were originally going to have our wedding at GLB. Unfortunately we had nothing but problems. Our guests were calling us, concerned about the negative reviews they were reading all over the internet. The bottom line was it is a great place if you can get a super, last-minute deal, but not worth the cost or the hassle to have your big day there. The problems seem to have started when they got a new manager. GLB also seems to cater to the nudist crowd, so unless you have naked guests they most likely won't receive the services promised. We are now going with Couples and they have been great. I would find a TA that specializes in weddings (several on the forum) and get a professional opinion.

You also need to be sure you are getting enough calories. If you've reduced what you are eating and are working out, you body might not have enough fuel so it's clinging to what it can. You need at least 1200 calories a day if you are active. You can also watch when you eat. You are supposed to have something within 30 minutes of waking up. I've stopped eating refined sugar and I don't eat carbs after 3-4 pm. I also don't eat anything after 8pm if I can avoid it. I am a fat cow so I'm hoping this strategy will pay off. On a happy note, I tried on the sample of my dress at the bridal store today and I almost got it zipped!

Morgan this is great! I want to do one too now! I don't have any photoshop skills (maybe because I don't have photo shop...) I was going to suggest finding some fab 80's wedding photos. Try to find one from Maria Shriver's wedding. I know she had a billion bridesmaids and they were all in different colors.
