This is my new favorite BDW thread! The next time I'm in a bad mood, I'm looking at puppies! Here's Harley in the snow. This was a few years ago. He's getting a gray beard now! And here is sleeping in Mike's college house. Gross couch! I'm so glad that thing is gone! And here he is being super cute! And here he is baby sitting. I told him he couldn't get on the couch because of the baby, so he went and got his baby and sat down and watched them both.

I agree with everyone else. If you tell both of them the situation before the wedding, then they need to be adult enough to control themselves out of respect for you, your friendship, and your wedding. If either of them can't, then they need to be adult enough to politely decline the invitation.

Congrats! Once you pick a place it is a huge relief! Everything else falls into place. With such a small wedding party you shouldn't need a rehearsal. Some resorts charge for them (I guess because there are so many weddings) so it might not be worth the $$$ to you. I'm planning on gathering my bridal party in my room or the lobby or somewhere and having a quick, informal run through.

There are much hotter boys to have crushes on...Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, the list can go on. But I think it's fun to have crushes! I get one about once a week! LOL

Morgan - It looks like you had a blast! I've got to get me some bar sunglasses! Your college clothes weren't skanky! (I might have owned those red pants! I definitely had the purple snakeskin ones!) I pulled some of mine out the other week...It's a good thing I wasn't living at home or my mother would not have let me out of the house! ANd they were super tiny! Once skirt that used to fit around my whole body now only fits around one thigh!

That dress is beautiful! Now playing devil's advocate: Do you have any bigger girls? I would worry that if someone were a little larger, she might be uncomfortable with the back. Would the $204 include alterations? Keep in mind that even though the dress is $200, by the time you pay tax, delivery, alterations, etc. it could be over $300.

To help narrow down your choices in venue, make a list of wants--AI, adult only vs. kid friendly, active or relaxed, beaches or cliffs, etc. What you have pictured in your head will help you eliminate things. I figure I might not always know what I want but I do know what I DON'T want!

I did eat horribly this weekend with all of the "road food". I'm sure a lot of it was all of the sodium. It's time to kick my butt into high gear! This is not where I wanted to be at the half-way point!!! I have been so busy with work I haven't gotten to the gym to find a drill-sargent trainer. Must make that a priority! FI isn't doing much in the way of working out or being good motivation. Thanks to BDW so I don't have to do it alone!

I read about this this morning. I hope she does well. Apparently this is a really rare condition and most of the babies don't live very long.

I like the idea of a pamper me day at a spa. You could also organize a girls' weekend somewhere close or that is special to your sister. On the invites put No Gifts or if you wish to give a gift make a donation to sister's favorite charity...I personally always try to do something to commemorate the occasion, even if an invite says no gifts.

Oh no! I've had some hair mishaps, but never had the cheetah look. I need to get my hair lightened for the wedding and am noe especailly nervous. I always do salon color though, so hoplefully it won't be bad. I guess I'll be the first to ask if you have pictures. Not so we can laugh at you but so we can fully understand the situation and better support you!
