  1. Ok, I made out with 2 different boys in one night. But it was college and it was fun! You're 18 and stupid for a reason! Never have I ever...Played strip poker, or any other strip game for that matter...
  2. I've never changed the oil in a car. (But I have in a helicopter)
  3. I love natural disasters! I'm not morbid or anything, I just think they are fascinating! The local news is ridiculous! I mean a few bricks fell off a building, there has to have been some other event that took place yesterday. The Pope is here, there are troops in Iraq, the PA primary is coming up, etc. They are just finding people to interview! One lady was going on and on about how her cat woke her up! In case you can't tell, I'm not a fan of local news. LOL
  4. How cute! I was thinking about trying to DIY them, but now I might have to splurge!
  5. I Love them! Of course they look very similar to my dresses, but that just means we have great taste! LOL The color will look great on the beach!
  6. Sarah, have a blast! Try and remember everything so you can give us a full report! I can't wait for pictures!
  7. It was little a 5.4. The epicenter was in a pretty rural area. There are some smaller towns, but it's mainly farm fields. We get them but they are usually tiny like 2.0 or something. The last big one I remember was when I was in Middle school so about 15 years ago. That one actually knocked pictures off the wall. It's funny, there is a major fault line that runs through Western Kentucky that hasn't had a major shift in almost 200 years (or something like that). So in school we were all waiting for "The BIG One" The theory being the longer it goes without moving the stronger it will be. I had a rather cooky science teacher so it was interesting. We had earthquake drills in his class about once a month!
  8. I've never been caught! LOL I have busted people messing around in the walk-in fridge. Does that count? Like Ann I have only played this as a drinking game...It gets dirty! Never have I ever been sky-diving
  9. Just checking on our Chicago-area brides! The earthquake woke me up! The bed was shaking and sliding around on the floor! That's an effort with as much weight on that bed! We are about 125 miles away in Louisville, KY and could feel it! No major damage around here. One of the historic buildings downtown had a few bricks fall off the facade but that was it!
  10. I'm having Sarah design my invites. She was SO reasonably priced! I'm sure there was a big BDW discount! Sproullie Designs | Custom Photobooks, Invitations and more! I looked through tons of invites to get inspiration. Try Wedding Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Wedding Stationery, Wedding Shower Invitations, Prim and Pixie, and The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations to see if anything speaks to you! Seach the forum too. Some of the ladies have some great DIY invites.
  11. Rachel the commentary is awesome! Maybe that could be your side job...we'll all send you pictures and you can just make shit up! Looks like you had a great time despite being ripped off! Thanks for sharing. I needed the laugh!

Not sure who you are using but I came across this site in my search Ultra Realistic & Lifelike Silk Wedding Bouquets This bottom photo is from Hibiscus Florals, a company I was condsidering using until I went with my personal florist. Lifelike Silk Wedding Flowers: Artificial Bridal Floral Arrangements Of Top Quality I agree that you should send her another sample photo and see if she can fix it. If she doesn't have the Mango Calas and cannot get them, I would probably go with a different company, especially since you asked for them up front. I don't think the bouquet is bad, but am not a fan of the brown calas. It doesn't say tropical to me, it feels more fall or forest-y.
  13. Impatiens and Marigolds are also great for hot weather and do come back after droughts. You might also want to plant some PennyRoyal. Its a green, ground cover type plant that wards off Mosquitos!
  14. That's what you get for snooping! LOL We have a no-playing-with-other's-phone rule. His brother tends to send him jokes and pictures that gross me out and one time her found a few messages that I was at or going to Oliver's. He got all freaked out, but it was a new pool hall that had just opened!
  15. I'm so sorry for your loss, Amanda. I'm glad you are focusing on the good times you had with him and know that he is in a better place. I know how hard this is. You and your family will be in my thoughts.
  16. FI's favorite color is black, so almost all of my lingerie is black. I wonder what he's going to think about the white stuff?
  17. I need to check with our vet to see how much the average services are (teeth cleaning, heartworm, etc.) to see if it's worth it. I checked the breed list and it doesn't cover labs for "exercise-induced collapse" ie, heatstroke and that is the most common problem with Labs. Harley has had 1 heatstroke and I thought I would die! He's old enough now I don't know if we should get it and I didn't see an age listing. Also, who knew so many breeds were narcoleptic?
  18. My bachelorette was pricy! But, we went out of town for a whole weekend, stayed in suites in a boutique hotel, paid for cabs, dinners, etc. It was about $400 per person. Luckliy the girls (there were 12 of us) picked up my tabs the whole weekend. For FI's bachelor party, one of his brothers didn't drink so they rented a large van to transport everyone for about $75, so it was $10 per person and they had it the whole day.
  19. Our resort in Jamaica offers that as an option. You might want to check with your resort to see if it is offered and what the cost would be. We considered it but then thought, who will be home at 4:30 on a Saturday to watch online live? It does stay active for 60 or 90 days, but we are having a reception at home and plan to show our wedding video. In the end we decided to spend the $400 elsewhere.
  20. Love it! I haven't seen that before. Forwarding it to FI right now!
  21. I would get some white out tape, so its not clumpy, and just re-do the area code. If it's not the focal point of your STDs, then it shouldn't be a big deal. 2 weeks and $150 can get you a lot down the road. You can always do one and post a pic to get some input to see if anyone notices!
  22. These are from Oriental Trading. They are about an inch and are $5 for 144 pcs. Mini Flip Flop Erasers
  23. Betsy, your pics are awesome! You looked so radiantly happy! I got a little teary. Was your dad wearing pink shoes? He f-in ROCKS! Which one is SIL?
