  1. I would just do a packet of info. Here is a link to the one I just sent. They were between 1.48 and 1.65 to mail for 17 pages in an oversized envelope with their personalized luggage tags. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t19955
  2. Welcome and happy planning! You'll find tons of helpful info here!
  3. Congrats and happy planning! You'll find lots of helpful info here!
  4. OMG Sarah! I don't know what to say! I would be shocked, furious, depressed, etc. if I were in this situation. BIg hugs and BDw love to you! Ans this week of all weeks! I think you need to raid the candy bar (or liquor cabinet)!
  5. Congrats and happy planning! I'm sure you'll find tons of helpful info here!
  6. I'm a Cardinal through and through! Louisville, we won the Orange Bowl two years ago and then all kinda fell apart! That's where FI played football. He is from Kansas so he swears his allegiance to KU. I'm ok with that for basketball. Rock Chalk! The truth is football is the only sport I care about!
  7. Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
  8. I personally don't have any but FI is up to 8 and wants to keep going. It started as 1 before football season, since the school won the national championship he kept getting them! He played 5 years in college and 3 years arena. I was with him for one and it's funny because the image on me would wrap around both shoulders and go across my back. On him, it just fits between his shoulder blades!
  9. The crystals will adhere to anything, depending on the type of glue you use. I bought my letter from e-bay for $12 I think. They shipped super fast! I think I had in 2 days!4.5" Mirror Monogram Letter "B" for Wedding Cake Topper - eBay (item 280139902930 end time Mar-13-08 07:46:25 PDT) Here is my thread and finished product. I still haven't decided what to do with my leftover sparklies.http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t17538 It is much prettier in person. I did primarily the clear crystals and mized some blue sporadically throughout.
  10. With all of the new shows starting tonight, I need to drag my exercise bike to the living room and go for it! Maybe that's why I won't win Biggest Loser. That or the midnight pizza...it's a toss up! LOL
  11. I would carry them on. It won't be a big deal for them to be checked on the big plane because it is so cold up in the air. My biggest fear is that they would sweat/melt on the way to the resort.
  12. So, I'm an over-planner. I know this and accept this about myself. If anyone is interested in micro-managing their guests like I am, feel free to use the following template! 13. I believe it is a plumeria blossom. You should google that in a real touch flower so you don't have to worry about it wilting. Plumeria Bobby Pin review at Kaboodle here it is in clay on a bobby pin Frangipani Real Touch there are the real touch
  14. I would suggest trying to find a wedding at your resort on YouTube. That's what I did and it was nice to see the set up and hear the music. From what I have found with the Jamaica musicians is that they know most of the standards and lots of Bob Marley. If you can get sheet music to them in time they might be able to learn a special song.
  15. I like them, I think they are kinda whimsical! I'd say no bow. It doesn't really match the fish.
  16. Thanks! I'm a total mess now! I have cried at the last 3 posts I've read! Morgan, we need a ferret, STAT!

    Ahhhhh

Carly I feel that way all the time, except I feel like I'm not prepared! I've ordered lots of stuff that I'm still waiting for. My dress isn't in, I still need shoes, etc. I feel like the major things have been taken care of, but I also feel like I am forgetting something huge, like a wedding ring or something! LOL If it's this bad now, I can't imagine what I will be like when the ticker is down to days! I can't sleep as it is! I don't know if that makes you feel better, but at least you aren't alone!
  18. There's a thread on here somewhere about the frames from MyJeanM being kinda cheap and not worth the $15. So some of the girls bought small lockets and DIYed them. I'll see if I can find it. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t3311-5 I'm going to tuck a single iris bloom, my Nana's favorite flowers on the underside of my bouquet (so it's like she's holding my hand) and carry the handkerchief she did at her wedding. Great, now I'm crying! I don't even know if I should bother with make-up since it appears I will be bawling through the ENTIRE wedding! LOL!
  19. Courtney everything looks great! I love that you were able to carry the blue theme throughout. I LOVE Aaron's shirt! Only 7 days to go! Have you started packing? Be sure you bring a camera! You know how we are about pictures!

Congrats and happy planning! You'll find tons of helpful info here!
  21. I haven't stayed there but it sounds great! I'm sure that having a location has taken a big weight off your shoulders and now you can move forward!
  22. How cute! I love when I get surprise revelations from FI! Thanks for sharing the article too!

I do have plans to head to the US in the fall to visit my MOH and to pick out her dress. I will definitely look when I am there. The prices you girls get in the US are so much better. I would at least go try it on first. I had found what I thought was my dream dress. I went to 6 different stores in 3 states trying to find it. FInally one of them called me to tell me they got a sample in. Well, on my body, it looked awful! Not flattering at all! SO, I waited so long to find "the dress" that I didn't order one for the wedding. Now, my dress isn't due to arrive until May 25th and we leave on JUne 15th! I'm now having to pay out the a$$ for alterations because I had to find a place that could rush them. Thant being said, I wasn't trying to talk you out of your dream dress. I just wanted to share what happened to me. It was heart-breaking that "my dress" really wasn't.
  24. Congratulations! Your pics are great and you both look so happy! I'm glad it was everything you'd hoped for.
  25. That's a great idea Betsy! I really like how it turned out. I'm sure your guests will love seeing your pictures! I kinda took the same approach with the wedding and it has helped with the budget!
