  1. Since FI was a college football player, I know & have met quite a few guys in the NFL. I told FI to invite them all to the wedding--I know they could afford it! LOL I have a friend who is a Jockey Agent so I've met quite a few famous jockies. That's kind of a big deal around here! I know they are jockies, but still...Tiny little men. We went bar hopping with one and he said, I think your boob is as big as my head. The Kentucky Derby is this weekend so maybe I'll have some celebrity sightings to pass along! I'll probably feed quite a few of them!
  2. Those are great! And very classy! I'm sure having a good relationship with the photographer made it easy for you to relax.
  3. Heather, check the Sandals forum. TA Jennifer just got back from a tour of all of the properties. She is posting reviews and lots of pictures. You could probably PM her for more specific info.
  4. I'm thinking he has a key like Desmond did. Wehn ben came out of the closet he was all dirty, like he had been in the ground. When Desmond turned the key, it shut off the magnetic field that was blocking all signals from the island, so maybe Ben turned it back on. When Ben was in Whidmore's bedroom he told him he would never find the island...
  5. Hey ladies! None of my fellow "Losties" commented on last weeks episode! SO, I though I'd start a Lost thread that would be easy to search. Lost - a fan site community devoted to the hit ABC TV series: LOST Visit for theories and discussion questions [spoilerFix.com] SpoilerFix.com messages to the visitors! Visit for spoilers if you just can't wait for the next episode! -------------- I'm wondering who will be next on Sayid's hit list? His wife Nadia was killed in 2005 (they were on the isalnd in 2004). Wasn't the episode with Desomond contacting Penelope in 2008? So, she wouldn't be next...

I think a park setting with all of those flowers would be beautiful! I also like the Wedding Crasher weddings. I like the traditional stuff!
  7. Welcome back and Congratulations! It sounds like you and your guests had a wonderufl time! I can't wait to see pictures!
  8. I'm sorry you're disappointed. Everything will be fine in the end. Try not to focus too much on the change of plans so you can relax and enjoy when the date arrives. On the bright side, you'll get to have another spa day to get ready!

    Hi everyone!

You'll find everything you need to know here! Congrats and happy planning!
  10. I've met quite a few "famous" people because of my job. I have contracts with the orchestra and the private airports to provide food for their celebrity clients/guests performers/passengers. I LOVED Tony Bennet. He was the nicest man ever! Dionne Warwick was a total bitch and totally cracked out. I met Bill Clinton in high school and he is SO charismatic! I also made the desserts and acted as sous-chef for a private dinner for John Grisham. That was pretty cool too. Every year since then, I"m on his list for an autographed copy whenever a new book comes out. My food has met more people than me. Usually I deliver, especially to the planes, before the celeb is there. They usually just wait at the hotel or somewhere until the plane is ready for take-off.
  11. We are actually going to have cake and HD's before dinner. With the time of our reception and our dinner location, this will be the easiest thing to do. We are going to do group photos, etc outside so I want the guests to have something to do while all of this is going on. So, HD's and cocktails in the garden! We are doing the "semi-private" dinner because it is free. Our other option was a seated meal at $100+ per person. I figure we should make toasts and cut the cake while we are private. I still haven't decided if I want the guests to eat the cake there or take it back to the kitchen and have it served later.

    hi

I'm sure you'll find all kinds of info and answers to questions you never knew you had! Congrats and Have fun searching the forum!
  13. Congrats! Don't worry, it's never too early to start planning!
  14. It is absolutely beautiful! Is it plain or is there beading? I couldn't really tell from the picture.
  15. Tammy she is precious! I love her little sweater! It makes me REALLY want a puppy!
  16. I would think it would be easier. Most of the packages I looked at at the various resorts had "free" items for up to 8 or 10 guests. I think because you have a small group you will be able to make any upgrades you might want. You can also treat your guests to some nicer meals, excursions, OOT bags, etc. because you have the smaller number. There are things that I would have loved to do for my guests but 35 people times $30 here and $50 here really adds up!
  17. Hey Ladies! Today Lifetime is having a wedding movie marathon! Perfect for those of us who went out and had a little too much fun last night. Take 2 excedrin and order some chinese and you'll have the perfect hang over cure! Also, tomorrow the Food Network kicks off their wedding week. Lots of stuff about cakes and receptions. I think they all star at 8. It should be a great way to get some ideas!
  18. What a beautiful wedding! You both look so happy! I love your dress, too. And all of your guests looked so glamorous!
  19. I have lots of fake bling. I'm telling you--diamonique from QVC f-in rules. You can get the fake diamonds set in silver. It isn't that expensive 30-70 each but it wears really well, doesn't scratch, doesn't tarnish, etc. very worth the price. Some of my other fake bling, even from Macys turned my fingers green!
  20. I'm sure they will be great! Don't worry about the neighbors...it's probably the most exciting thing to happen on your street in years! LOL I don't know too many that would complain! Unlike my FI who went outside with a flashlight at midnight trying to see where the raccoon was getting into the attic, but that's a whole nother story!
