  1. I have seen this picture before, so I know it exists! But of course, I have lost it! It might have been in Platnium Weddings or Inside Wedding Magazine, I'm still searching. I'm looking for a tall centerpiece, like a trumpet or eiffel tower vase that has stands of jewels hanging down. Here are some that are kind of similar, but not quite right: Instead of the candles, ivy, or moss they have sparkles that hang down. Thanks! If I find it, I'll be sure to post!
  2. The forum is a great resource! Have fun searching!
  3. Great idea! I wonder how the bridal party would feel about receiving them as gifts?

  5. Search for real-touch or natural touch flowers. Michaels, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, etc. usually have them in the floral section and often have 50% off sales. Hibiscus Florals is a company that I know of that make them. I chose to have my personal florist make my silk bouquet and I will take it down with me. I was familiar with his quality, didn't have to pay shipping, and I got a deal because I am a frequent customer. My best advice is to search the forum and on-line! (I don't know if I helped at all...)
  6. For my Fun Friday Ferret contribution I give you the Magic 8 Ferret. AskTheFerret.com - The Magic 8 Ferret It's like an 8-ball, but a ferret. So, now all of those wedding options that have you on the fence can easily be resolved!
  7. I was wondering the same thing! I always get excited when I see a new post. Becks, I don't know how you do it, but keep 'em coming!
  8. I got mine from Bouquet Jewels - Unique Bouquets for Unique Brides It was $15 I think with free shipping. You can search the forum or google. I think the title is "star of the sea". There are lots of other designs to choose from, initials, palm trees, butterflies, etc.
  9. Oh no! The same thing happened in my house! My landlady is crazy, but she fixes things within 24 hours. I hope you guys have the same luck. I would definitely play the preggo card!
  10. Courtney I'm so excited for you! I hope your day is even better than you dreamed. All of your hard work and planning is going to pay off! Congrats and Happy Wedding Day! I can't wait for details & pictures!
  11. Welcome! Have fun searching the forum!
  12. I found a lady named Stacey Clark based out of Negril who does photos and videos. Her samples on the website were pretty nice. I ended up bringing my own photog with me, but she was very nice and quick with correspondence. I'll post her website when I find it. You can also just google her. She may have even been recommended on the forum...I don't remember! Home [email protected]
  13. Welcome! I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful info in the wedding review section.
  14. I got mine on Tuesday and I'm a 66! Too bad the money is already spent! LOL
  15. Sounds amazing! I think I might need to start planning our anniversary trip. It was going to be Greece, but I might have to change my mind!
  16. Glad you decided to join us!
  17. Congrats! I hope it is even better than you imagined!
  18. She sends you the file and you can use the image however you want, or I'm sure you can arrange for her to print the stickers/lables, etc. for an additional charge. Some girls have used them for invites, menu cards, post cards, stamps, etc. Go to her website: Sproullie Designs | Custom Photobooks, Invitations and more! There is a monogram request page and a gallery where you can see some examples.
  19. The forum is great! I didn't need subscriptions to every bridal magazine, all I needed was BDW! Here is the link to the abbreviation de-coder: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2690
  20. I got mine from Asian Ideas too! It was great service. The pink is really pretty!
  21. Congrats and Welcome! I think given enough time, people can plan to attend. Your wedding might be smaller than you had anticipated, but will still be lovely. As Autumn suggested, you could always have a celebration dinner in California when you return.
  22. 5 is plenty. If they are passed people won't take as many as they would from a buffet. Are you doing a variety of 5 menu items or 5 pieces per person? Either way you'll have enough.
  23. That is really unique! I love Celtic designs! I'm glad it all worked out for you.
  24. Sarah is one of the mods for the forum! She has done great work for lots of brides here. I'm having her do my monogram and invites and am very pleased. The prices were more than reasonable, even too low! Don't sell yourself short Sarah!
