I think having a list will be really helpful. I would also designate the owner, contents, room instead of just a number. If you don't have your list handy how will you know what is in box #12? Men don't really know how to move IMO. FI got so mad when we moved in. I too am a compulsive labler. Note that he still has boxes of who knows what in our basement that have been down there for almost 6 years!

I love them! Your photographer did such a great job of capturing the emotion. You both look so happy and relaxed, like you're having fun. They don't have that forced look like some studio pictures can.

I have it in white and black. It is a soft but heavy jersey material. My local J Crew had them in about 6 different colors. It sounds like your wedding will be on the casual side if the GMs are wearing khakis and short sleeved shirts. If you dress it up with some funky jewelry and/or sparkly flip-flops it could work. The only way to tell will be to order one and try it!

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how horrible you feel right now. My thoughts and big hugs are with you! I agree that you need to take some time off from planning. Lean on your FI and the rest of your family and get through this together. When you do start to plan, remeber how excited your dad was and carry on with that energy, knowing he would want nothing less than the best for you. There are lots of ways to remember him in your ceremony if you choose to do so.

Abbie would know the specifics on checking matches. I think I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to, but I always keep a travel candle in my suitcase and I've never had a problem anywhere. I have metal travel candles and I'm going to put a book of matches in each tin instead of taking a whole box of matchbooks.

Now I want some candy! I think it looks great. I agree that you need to have a little bare space so people can set the bags down to fill them. The only addition I would make is a label for each candy, especially the sugar free. How was the shipping at the bulk candy store?

The first season was great! Before the break. I was really starting to wonder about the rest of the season when Eric was gay and Serena killed someone...It was getting a little cliche and soap-opera-ish. I'm glad they sort of took it down a notch and got back to the drama. Was Jenny even in this episode? I'm very excited for the finale. Glenda, I didn't even think about it being on DVD! I will definitely have to re-watch!

Wow Becks! This is some BD - Big Drama! I can't even begin to imagine what will happen! Your poor FILs will be hurt. I really don't think it was fair of her to invite the BF, even if you all get along, knowing her mother's views and how she will probably react. This trip is supposed to be about you and FI!

I don't kon why, but I have been having the craziest dreams lately! I almost never dream (or at least remember them) so it is kind of freaky to me. I'm sure the stress of my job, wedding planning, stupid bridal party, etc is not helping. I thought I would share a few so you all could laugh as much as I did! A few weeks ago it was a pretty normal wedding ceremony but when I got to the end of the aisle, my ex from about 8 years ago was there, not my FI. This guy was super hot but a GIANT A-Hole and we haven't spoken in years. Well, I did see him out at a bar one night, but a casual hi was it. A few nights ago Britney Spears crashed my wedding and I was so pissed beacuse all of the paparazzi were there, getting in the way and keeping me from getting my pictures. Last night I was franticly rushing about trying to finish up the details for the wedding, then I remembered I needed a groom! I have no idea where FI was, but my mom and I were sitting at a table making a list of people who might be available that I could marry!

I have a fantastic pashmina vendor after all of the trouble Carly, Trisha, and the other girls had with theirs. The E-bay seller ID is : PurseLover168 You can see the color selection here: Little S&A Garden I just contacted the seller and told them I needed 10 turquoise and 10 aqua and the total was only $95 for all 20, including priority shipping. That makes them $4.75 each, but since I'm not close to Chinatown, it was definiety the best option. Even though on e-bay it says all sales are final, I was send the wrong shade of turquoise and he exchanged them for me with no problem. I will post pics when I get home! Feel free to tell them I highly recommended them!
