I would check with your resort. For example, I was told that they won't do a seated dinner for more than 20 guests. Our dinner at one of the restaurants is free and we will all sit in the same section, so it will be semi-private. I didn't see the point in spending and extra $95 pp for food and alcohol. As a compromise, we are having private hors d'oeuvres after the wedding, before dinner, in the garden so our guests have something to do while we are taking pictures.

No garter or bouquet toss at the DW or AHR. Though, I did do a wedding once where the bride tossed a bouquet, but the flowers weren't bound together. That way, when it was thrown, each lady/girl was able to get a flower. It also made for some really neat pictures.

We are taking our own photog with us, so we have an advantage. I'm going to do my TTD a few days before the wedding. We will take as many pics before the ceremony as possible. We are getting married at 4pm and I don't want to see FI before we go down the aisle.

I paid about $35 for a month of unlimited tanning in a high pressure bed with some sort of special face tanner thing. You'll probably find with most places that the more you buy, the cheaper it is. I definitely agree you should check online, etc for coupons. If you have a friend who goes to a particular place, have her ask about referrals.

I understand completely. I'm a chef, so I'm at the store practically everyday. If I have to go to a specialty store or someplace like Sam's (for pricing/availability reasons) I ALWAYS get stuck behind the price check/expired coupon/whatever person and it makes me crazy! I also hate the cashiers who don't know what anything is (it's a zucchini not a cucumber) I have seriously had to tell THEM the produce codes!

So we're off to KC for FBIL's wedding. Wish me luck! It's always a little crazy there. I know his parents must think I'm a raging alcoholic! Whatever it takes, you know...Plus, all the emotion and drama their wedding has caused us, getting married less than 4 weeks before we do. My nerves are a little frayed! I've been so busy trying to clean the house before we leave. My mother is staying over so she can watch the dog. Don't have your mom stay at your house! It is nerve-racking! I've also been working 12+ hour days trying to get things in order to leave work. I've already barely been on in the last 3 days, maily just to check the status of Ann and Nugget. I think another 6 days (we won't be back until Tuesday) without my BDW and I might go crazy! LOL I already have 2653 posts to catch up on! Of course, I could always go hide in the office... These are called Floralytes and can be found on e-bay and various wholesale locations. I believe they come in red, green, blue, purple, teal, and white. THey should be between $2-5 each. For larger arrangements you really need to plan 2-4 per to get the desired effect. One will really only show in something like a votive holder.
