Interesting show tonight. I'm ready for Vegas so the Top 20 can start the competition! Does anyone else think Natalie will come back and audition again?

I'm so excited for tonight! Don't worry, my little Canadian friends if you miss it. The first few episodes are just auditions. I keep saying that I will catch up on SYTYCD Can but I haven't. Now all my fall shows are starting so it doesn't look good! LOL

I'm super excited! The pilot was really good. I hope the show can keep up. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

I'm a caterer and event planner. Those tables are incredibly expensive because they are usually custom made. The ones for rent are shipped in from a bigger city,so you have to pay fright on top of rental, at least in my experience. You can DIY them by covering your table with whatever kind of decoration, use plexiglass spacers to create height and then a sheet of plexiglass on top as a cover. If you really want to do this I would look at doing one or two key tables like the cake table or the bridal table.

That sounds like so much fun! A friend of mine did that. She even wore a big pouffy 80's wedding dress with the hat/veil combo. The party ended up being featured in the local paper!

I'm with you Kathy. I'm usually a purist when it comes to making movies from books. I hope they make Breaking Dawn! I would be majorly pissed if they didn't complete the series. I guess a lot will depend on sales and if the Twilight Fever stays around. I'm kind of surprised that the movies isn't out on cable yet. I think I read that Showtime acquired the rights but isn't planning on releasing it until spring of 10. That seems a little silly, especially since New Moon will probalby be on DVD at that point!

Each book will get a movie, but the author is saying that the last one needs 2. I can totally see that or it will be a 3 hour movie, not that Twi-hards will care! LOL

Jen, what do you think about the controversy over Breaking Dawn? I've read that Setphenie Meyer thinks it needs to be 2 movies to cover everything but the studio will only approve 1.

Yeah Rach, the show does leave me a little a lot of the time. You definitely need to catch a re-run. Eric calls the kids delicious little tea-cup humans and it made me LOL. So in my search for spoilers (because I'm crazy) I came across some interesting stuff! I'll just post links for those Trubies who have more patience than myself. LOL And my fall shows will be starting soon... Time to move the elliptical to the living room. With my fall TV schedule I should be able to drop about 30 lbs this winter if I only watch when I run.

That is how I found out, my Awesomely Fantastic DVR! I should buy it a present... Anyway, the show was pretty good. It just a fluff piece basically but I'll take whatever SYTCYD I can get! Nigel was the host and he showed and commented on the best 3 numbers from each of the 5 previous seasons. It was fun to see some of the older ones. I had forgotten how much I like them the first time around! Honestly, as sick as I was of hearing it this season, I think as the show has progressed, the talent pool has gotten better. I also think that when the routines are performed for the first time in competition, they are better. They've had the bench routine on several shows and they do that re-cap at the end, but none of them even hold a candle to how good it was the first time.

FYI Ladies... Tonight at 8:00 (EST) there is a special SYTCYD on! It is the top 15 performances of all time, over the past 5 seasons. I assume they will all be from the US show but who knows. I'm sure there will be a sneak peek for Season 6 which starts NEXT WEDNESDAY! SEPTEMBER 9TH!

True Blood website on HBO has a message board with lots of interesting theories about what will happen. There is also a sub-forum for "bookies" and some theories about what will happen in book 10. I need another forum addiction like I need a hole in the head!

The short answer is No. You cannot bring any live plants across the border, either direction. If you do a search on Customs or go to the US customs web page you can see the full list of all the rules. I doubt they would kill off Sam. Basically the way to kill Maryanne is to trick her and make her doubt herself. She has to think the God has been summoned and he has to be 2 natured. That leaves Sam, but also Eric. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get in the middle of this. I'm wondering if anything is up with that little statue. They have shown it several times and it always seems to be central to her parties. When Sam picked it up the first time they met, she told him to be careful. Maybe if it breaks she breaks? Or she has to be killed with it? Does she get trapped inside like a genie? I am also wondering what they will do with Lafayette and Jessica. I was surprised to see Hadley, Sookie's cousin. In the books she isn't mentioned until 8 or 9 so I wonder how that will develop. I'm not a huge ERW fan, but I thought she did a good job. The queen is supposed to be a very overly dramatic character. The fact that she is 1000 years old and gets her kicks playing Yatzee was funny. I LOVED Eric's comments about the kids. They are like humans, but miniature. Good night Tiny Human. I would like to see a little more Pam. Hopefully, she'll get more lines next season.

Holy Crap! Someone has to have watched this so we can discuss. I don't want to spoil anything! Last night's episode was great! My favorite Eric episode to date. The writing seemed to be extra witty. I LOLed a few times. I am pissed that 1) we have to wait for 2 weeks to see another episode and 2) it's the end of the season!

Woo Hoo! Only 10 more hours until tonight's episode for us East Coasters! Next weekend they are showing a marathon I guess because of the Holiday. We'll have New Moon the movie in November so that will have to get us through for a while I guess!

I don't know about PV, but those rates are pretty much what you would expect to see here in the US. Why do you think you will need a tent?
