Wow I'm sorry that's horrible! I too seem to always have issues coming from Canada back into the states when I am traveling with my FI. Not sure if its because he has a Canadian passport and I a U.S one... but we always seem to be the lucky ones that get pulled into the side room. They separate us, ask random questions and dig through our stuff. They've never bothered with our cameras or laptops though!

I'm not sure what the "right" answer is... but I think its a personal choice. For all my stuff I am doing a B for Becky (instead of the R for Rebecca) because that is what people know me by. Ours are more on the informal side so the B fits best for me.

Yah I just found out I got my date and time! We requested last Monday and they got back to my TA late Friday night. She just emailed me this morning with the good news I am on Monday January 5th at 4:00 pm. We will tenatively be going Dec 31st - Jan 10th. Yah for one less thing to worry about.

Sorry I haven't heard of any weddings... but my parents stayed there a couple years ago and loved it. With the 2 Rius next door they had more space and options available. Hopefully someone here can help you out more!

I think the "would you rather" is really cute! And I agree... make a night out of it when you ask them. : ) The options are all amazing and giving them their choice is really thoughtful. They will love it!

So cute!!! I love all the little outfits! Is he pretty cooperative when you put them on? Unfortuantely my dog would not cooperate in a project like this. You put something on her and she goes nuts!

What did you put in the powerpoint? Are you trying to come up with a quote/phrase to go with the options?

My reasons were pretty similar to above... my younger siblings are coming and at the time of my wedding my brother will be underage so adult and couples only resorts were out. Plus looking at different photos and reviews of the resorts... the Riu seems to offer the young adult "vibe" we are looking for. Also, the Riu fit into our and our guests budget a little better. We are still in college as are a good portion of our guests... when we compared prices Riu fit the needs of our guets and let us extend the length of our trip for what we would paid at one of the others for the week.
