I agree with those above. I think the style is really cute and I LOVE the color. My only concern would be how formal your wedding is and how dressy the guys will bem.

I technically still have 2 classes tomorrow morning... but one benefit of ITV classes is that they are all recorded so I can start spring break early and rewatch them later when I want!
I just turned in my Ethics Final Case Analysis and am now on spring break! : )
No school next week = lots of shopping! Hopefullying finding both BM and GM attire.

Welcome!
Like the girls mentioned above... working with the Riu isn't always the quickest... but they do get back to you.
Are you working w/ a TA? I found that they respond to my TA much quicker than me. Plus my TA knew who to contact to move things along.
In response to Bobbi's suggestion above... I wouldn't try contacting Chandyln until you have your date confirmed. She is the wedding coordinator at ROR... but isn't responsible for actually booking your date. She already seems overwhelmed with emails from brides... contacting the general wedding department on the Riu webiste would probably be best.
Good luck!
I also agree it really depends on your relationship.
Early on in our wedding planning we were going to have one of FI's friends be our photographer... and we were debating the same thing. He was already planning on coming and upfront offered to do it completely free of charge. FI and I were going to help pay his travel expenses and then buy him a nice gift or treat him to some excursions while we were down there.
Long story short... he ended up becoming a groomsman and I was extremely lucky to win the wonderful photography services of Nic (thanks again Nic!) through a BDW contest... so we never had to come to a final decision on how to handle it.
Sorry... I guess that may not be very helpful. But I guess I would just evaluate your relationship with him and have your FI talk to him about it.
Welcome from another ROR 2009 bride! Take a look around the Jamaica threads... there is tons of great info on ROR and Ocho Rios! Good luck and Happy Planning.
