I am so jealous... another year for me! (May '09) I never thought I would say it... but I am getting burned out of school. Luckily this is my last semester of in class stuff... then rotations for a year... then graduation! Good luck in you final weeks and congrats on all your hard work! I completley understand how difficult it is to focus on school with the fun/stress of wedding planning.

Everything looks perfect! Can't wait to hear how things go... especially as my reception plans are the same as yours! : )

My dress which I love so much!!!!! But defitnely part of the dress I am most excited about. I plan on removing the privacy panel. Finally decided on a dress for the BMs! I wanted something tea-length that would be flowy and beachy. After trying on tons of options... this is it! Originally I wanted all the guys in tan/khaki suits. However, realized they will a) die of heat and have to pay more than I wanted. So now... Sean will be in the khaki suit of his choice and the GM will be in matching pants and a white-camp/tropical style shirt. I really like the first one... I think it will look beautiful w/ your dress color.

My initial reaction was... why not? I think most of those mags are pretty funny. As I currently live w/ 3 guys we have quite the collection around the house. My second thought though was of my own guest list... which includes a lot of family (aunt, uncles, etc) that it might not go so well with. I think it just depends on your guests. : ) But after reading everyone elses response it seems pretty safe to say to say you should go with it!

I don't think we will do parent gifts either (accept a photobook of wedding photos later). We are paying for the wedding mostly on our own... and my mom actually told me not to do gifts (when I was trying to figure out what to get FILs.) She said it is totally not necessary. So we will probably just to a nice thank you card and then maybe something (excursion, dinner) with them when we are on vacation.

I am debating the same issue. I went with diamond white because I felt it was more flattering to my skin tone and not so stark white (I could tell a slight difference when holding them next to eachother). However, I can't tell if its different enough to worry about shirt color for the guys. Ultimately, we will probably wait until my dress comes in before finding Sean a shirt.

I would suggest maybe taking her to try it on. I was originally looking at a simialr style - but have 1 girl w/ a larger chest - and I realized it just wasn't going to work once I saw it on her.
