  2. Hi there... I blieve that there aren't Rabbis here in Cabo..You would need to fly in you're own, there are some in Mexico City and Tijuana..that I know of...
  3. Hi there. All you need to do is, as soon as you get to NY, go to city hall or courthouse (Wherever you get married when doing it legal in NY), and file the document and that's it... Just in case, if they tell you that it's not valid, ask to speak with a supervisor, also, have it translated to English. Ps.- Remember, your married in Mexico...Under mexican laws... hehehe funny ain't it
  4. Marco Arechiga is very nice, laidback, funny and knows how to ease the presure of the moment...In a nice kind-a-way. Pm me if you need more info.
  5. The difference between Palace & Santa Fe, is that, Palace it's more "luxurious" while Santa Fe it's somewhere in Middle-High Class Hotel. Although both of them are actually pretty nice, Palace has nicer wedding sites, and if you book in SF you need to pay a "daypass" to go to Palace. But that's mainly it, being new SF looks a lot better than Palace, I've been to both of them and SF looks better... Cheers and good luck PS.- You just need to put up with the "funny" smell on both of them
  6. Don't worry, Desire is like a 10 minutes drive from Dreams... Yes, it is clothing optional...LMAO.... It's just like Hedonism Hotels, swingers, nude couples and stuff like that. Your mom is safe, don't sweat it.. Cheers
  7. What I can tell You is.... Art Walk in San Jose Walking near the Stuary at San Jose (Right beside Presidente Hotel, don't swim on the ocean though) Visiting Lover's Beach at Cabo (fair swimmable) Dune Buggy's tours at Buggy Adventures) These ones are free/cheap
  8. LMIAO.... Same thing happened to me a while ago... Welcome Coleen
  9. Hey guys, last thing I heard about it si that, as long as the bride or the outside vendor pays the "day pass" ($100.00USD) they'll allow it. But be extra careful about that, my GF got kicked out with police and everything, and she used to WORK FOR THEM..
  10. Looks like that's the answer, comunicate with Jaira's boss and CC to Her, you know, "Keep her on the loop".... That's what I'd do
  11. Awesome!!!! Congratulations.... Now, le the fun begin!!!
  12. I know a really good pianist... But orchestra or band that can play vintage songs, don't really know.
  13. Hi there. You should look into Cabo Vendors posts, there are many places that You may like. Cheers
  14. Hey Vari, bienvenida. Adriana y Yo te deseamos lo mejor ahora que ya tienes Allure.
  15. Hi there. Even though spring breakers start coming down to Cabo on the last two weeks of February, I don't think Your gonna have any trouble with them.
  16. For what I've read here, they're not allowing anymore Bonfires... But, for what I know, as long as the Hotel pays the fee of the bonfire and compromises to leave all nice and clean, the goverment authorizes them to do it. And I gotta say, the bonfires I saw at RIU, from Sept 06 until Sept 07 were amazing, a huge pit were Your guests could sit and enjoy the fire.
  17. Yep, October's one of the best months to get married, nice weather, slightly chances of rain... And the most beautiful moon sights on earth
  18. I've got nothing nice to say about them. Last time Adriana (their former-WC) went there, she was an OUTSIDE WC and still kicked her out... Same Adriana that save their asses like 1000 times...
  19. Naaaaa... Tell Your guest tha He/She is absolutely and definetely WRONG... Hurricane season starts until august, and getting worst through September..
  20. One more thing, I forgot about it in the first post.... Remember that, whenever you use this option of corkage fee, the Hotel or restaurant is charging you a specific amount so you can bring your own drinks, but if you need to use anything else, anything at all, they are going to charge you for it and, trust me on this one, it will be expensive. Hotels & restaurants do that because, after all, we're a looking for some profit, so it's not a great option for our bussines to let you buy outside what we already have inside; So, when we agree to do the corkage fee, we need to find a way to, at least, not loose money; so, the cokes prices go up to $5-$10 DOLLARS each and so on. There are some places that can give you some mixers on the house, like 4 or 5 cokes, maybe 1 litter of some juice, but other than that, it will be over priced. I hope this help.
  21. Hi Ladies. About the "law against bonfires"..hehehe... There's no such law, the thing is, Mexican Authorities charge a fee for doing a bonfire on the beach also, the place that sets the bonfire has to clean everything up and leave it stainless clean... So, because of that, some places decided to drop all the bonfire options. The fire dancers are a great option too. Cheers
  22. Hi Marip... Could You tell me where is that??
  23. Hi ladies. From a vendor point of view... WC's don't offer it because..guess what?... There's the big bux. jeje Restaurant wise, it's cheaper FOR YOU, but our costs are higher (Of course, you're looking what's good FOR YOU). Usually, the fees go from $15 to $40, depending number of guests, the place, the hours you're hiring. Be careful, some places charge You depending on the brand You bring and they won't let you know. i.e. If you bring a Bottom Shelf brand (Cuervo Gold Tequila, Charro TeKillYa, Bacardi Gold Rum) they charge the regular fee; but if you bring somehting on the alley of Patron Tequila, Grey Gose Vodka, Ketel One Vodka, Chateau Petrousse Wine, SOME of the places charge on the price of THAT particular bottle. I hope this was helpful. Cheers
