  1. I have to agree with Dino here, it sounds a lot more like a brawl than something else... There's danger all over the world, and I don't think that people should make a decision based on hear-says... Also, there was no hurricane, it was some rain and wind... Belive me, when we get hit by a Hurricane, we'll know it...
  2. Hey Brian... They do have come to an agreement, Taxis are running as usual, Transport companies need to take the contracts they sign with customers to a office just to let them know how many passengers are they transporting and to where are they taking them
  3. Hi there... Yes, You can go to City Hall or (Registro Civil), and have your wedding there, is a small Government Office, with a "kindaworking" Air Condition Unit, but You can absolutely go there, and of course, It's even more budget friendly than having the Judge go to any of the Beautiful locations We have down here; as far as I know, there's no dress code to have your papers singed. Good Luck
  4. Hey there... Congratulations... I agree with some of the replies here..I, personally, vouche for Adriana at UDW, in Cabo San Lucas... Or you can use any of the others agencies.... PM me if you need info... Cheers
  5. Hey guys... So, the latest news of the Taxis and DMC's problem is that, as of yesterday (19th), every company dedicated to give transportation services are good to go; as long as they have a previously signed contract, one thing that 99% of the people on this forum already have. They, (Government, Taxi Union & DMC's), signed an agreement that prohibits the Taxis to get you off the van you already rented, or make any kind of protest that would affect the transportation; on the other hand, the DMC's agreed that they would only carry passengers with a previously signed contract, no big deal, right? Also, in 90 days, all the parties that signed that agreement will present some sort of "Rules and Policys", and they have to take in consideration the other companies involved, so, only godd news now. Here's the link... in spanish.... Compañia Periodistica Sudcaliforniana, Los Cabos, BCS. Mexico Thanks, congratulations and Cheers... For this is a Major acomplishment in a 15 year old grudge...
  6. Ana, I'm sorry for being a party crasher but, try to figure out if the WILL give you the service, with the Taxi bs going on down here. Cheers
  7. It's been sunny, most of the time; but even if it rains, it doesn't pour around here
  8. Hey there... Unfortunately, until today (sunday morning), there hasnt' been a "good agreemetn" so, sadly tha Taxis are still, the people's choice... Also, the only choice we have...

  10. Hey Abbie... Yes, Twin Dolphin closed down a while ago but you can still go to SMB, on the same ol' road; although, you'll be seeing some heavy machinery working around on Caleta Linda because there's a new developmetn.
  11. Wow... Ana... It's so bad to read what you've been through and I bet you made the right decision booking vendors on your own. and you're right, there's nothing wrong with saying... Hey, I'm getting X% out of your wedding vendors... Just be real & be honest, that's better than beating 'round the president..Sorry...bush.. Cheers

  14. Welcome Teresa Congratulations on your wedding. I'm a Local here in Cabo and I want to share something with you. During October, The days at cabo are great, there's a "salty" breeze during the day, it's cooler than june and July and the nights... You literally can see the stars, the full moon rising from the Pacific like a huge orange beach ball... It's awesome, I hope this helps you decide, I love my hometown and it's got a lot to offer. Have a blast planning & any questions will be answered.
  15. Hi Season Welcome to the forum and Congratulations. Being a Local I can tell you September is a bad month for your wedding. THe most beautiful nights are in October and the days are cooler than june and july and also, it's not as windy as April and May. If there's any questions don't hesitate to ask; I'll gladly help you out.

  18. Hi Steph... Sadly, its not Transcabo's fault... The Taxi Union is making a lot of fuzz about being left behind and being bullied out by the companies like Transcabo, of course, that's not true... Survival of the fittest, right?... Anyways, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Taxi Union and what they want is to completely ban the companies out of Cabo... Theyr're still on negotiations, but so far, the T.U. have the upper hand and that's screwing with everyone... But you gotta have your money back. See ya and good luck in your Brand New Life with Hubbie... -G
  19. Hey Jackie.. Welcome back and a great review. I love that you liked our little piece of heaven.. Congratulations and the best in you brand new life
  20. Hi Nat. The weather here in Cabo during January (winter) is cold... Warm in the day hitting low temps as the sun goes down, sweater or something like that is recommended.
  21. Hi Saraha Some restaurant here in Cabo, don't require reservations, but since you're talking about a large group of people, it would be best if you do make it; the easiest way to do it is with the concierge, so, I would recommend that, once you have an aproximate number, give the place you want to visit at call and that should be enough. Cheers
  22. You could go... Deep sea fishing Snorkeling Golf Coursing (there are like 10+ golf courses down here) Drive a Dune Buggy through the dessert (Baja Buggies are good & Cheap.. TEL 624 14 331 37) Kayaking TO Lover's Beach (or take a over priced water taxi) Parasailing Eco tours (Buggy Adventures & Cabo Adventures) Canopy at Costa Azul or Boca de la Sierra... Cerritos beach is cool too
  23. Besides, it's mid-summer, so don't worry to much about the wind, chances are there won't be any
  24. Hi there... For what I read, your wedding is in July, so don't worry... Believe it or not, Cabo has a weird weather, it's really windy from October through April - May.. Other than that is pretty fair or not even a breeze.. Cheers
