Hi Kimm Depending on the country, there are really good options... Aruba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and, of course, the "hot Spot" Cabo, or so I've heard. There's a lot of really good info on this forum, best of luck and happy planning
  4. Hey congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Casa Dorada is brand new and it's a great place to get married, it's got the second perfect view of the bay and Land's end. I know your wedding will be an amazing event

  7. Hi there... Dependign on what you're looking for there are several places that can offer you some interesting ideas. Feel free to take a look around, the ambience and view of the different places Cabo has to offer. Cheers
  8. Wow... You're totally right. I've worked with Tomas Barron tomasbarron.com He's got really nice photos just as good as Juan Carlos' or Manuel Burgoin. Cheers
  9. Hey Jess... It's me again...LOL She's been coordinating events for over 3 years now, she started off as an Hotel WC and then took off to an Agency... Nowadays, she's doing it as an "independant", because she's just starting her own bussines. If you want more info, I can get you the bride's mail, so you can ask her directly and have a more accurate opinion about how she worked; after all, I attended as a guest but she hasn't done my wedding...hehehehe...JK Let me know if you would like to contact the Bride or Groom, we're really good friends and they can give all the details, and trust me, they'll tell you exactly how they felt. Right now they're honeymooning @ Can Cun, because the wedding was like 2 weeks ago. Cheers and happy hunting..err... I mean planning
  10. Hey jess... Her names is Addy Garcia, I have her e-mail adress, [email protected] like I said, she did a great job, and we've had our share of Wedding parties, with different WC's And she might as well be at the top ten.
  11. Hey, congratulations!!! I just attended a Wedding party at Del Cortez, it was fabulous, the food was great, the mariachis... Everything was stunning. The Outside WC did a hell of a job, even though she was all alone you could see how well she worked. On the question about pricing... It's just like anything else, there are very pricy and some that are not, but I imagine that you could talk your way through it. Anyways, happy planning
  12. If anyones is interested on New Year's Dinners, I'll be posting our info this week.... Look for it on friday... Nice dinner, open bar, fireworks right on the beach... The whole 10 yards
  13. Hi Jess Westin is a very good option, even though it's not an AI resort but, for what I've read on other posts, they're great. Baja Wedding is a great option too, a bit expensive, but they're one of the best WC agencies around; althought, there are other places that are excellent at what they do and have more friendly price range, without sacrificing quality, service or vendors. Happy Planing
  14. Hi First of all, Congratulation on your wedding. There are a lot of WC that are great at what they do. Personally I've worked with Varinia from Allure Event Designs and she is GREAT, also I've worked with Adriana from BBW, and her event was amazingly organized, she's very attentive and, what I think that could be one of her best attributes, she cares... Also she's under going certification (or already done, I can't remember)... Feel free to PM if you need any help.
  15. I think that the adress diference is mostly because there are several resorts that belong to the same group, like Me & Melia Cabo Real... In this case I think that Casa Dorada on Medano beach, Dreams and another 2 or 3 that I can't remember, are owned by the same group which is Grupo Questro. Thatmight be the reason for the confusing adress. Casa Dorada it's located righ behind Us and Dreams is far from here, like 10 miles away on the Corridor. Cheers
  16. Hi Leslie May is a great time of the year to get married, the weather is awesome, the sky is perfect, there aren't any springbreakers (in case you were wondering); and to top it all of, you're getting married in Cabo... Heaven on Earth.... Congratulations and Happy planning
  17. The Zoo bar or Squid Roe, they're both cool places but it's more of a party like rockstar kind of thing... At Medano beach we have several restaurants that serve dinner & open bar until midnight, fireowrks... The whole 9 yards... It's awesome because you get to see the ocean and Land's End under the monnlight and the fireworks and flares (from the boats) light up the gorgeous views.
  18. Hi there. The sand in Cabo varies, but at the Riu Hotels is really nice, even though it looks like small pebbles they're uncomfortable at all... I'd Say go for it... Cheers

  21. We've worked with Baja Weddings and they're good at what they do. Also Karla Casillas and Maye are at the top of their game. If you're looking for someone that would really a perfect 10 WC, contact Addy at [email protected] She's really good, she's a certified Coordinator, she has 250+ weddings coordinated in Cabo and the best of all, she can adjust to your budget. Feel free to PM if you need any help at all.
  22. That-s right... 23410 is Cabo's old ZC, and is still in use because everyone is still using it...funny hu?.....but yeah, it 23410.... is the one that's been around since I was 6
  23. I can't say for sure, but I think this is their adress... HOTEL RIU PALACE CAMINO VIEJO A SAN JOSE KM 4.5 CABO SAN LUCAS, B.C.S, MEXICO CP 23450
  24. There's Dj Fradal, who has really budget friendly prices and He's a real good Dj... If you want his info let me know... Cheers
  25. I think Ana's right.... The food and drinks are kind of over priced, the DJ depending on how many hours, but that's a lot, again I think.... It could be trimmed a bit more... Cheers
