We're also doing the free sweet wedding. Now that I read this forum, I wonder if Monica is no longer my coordinator as she has never returned any emails. For those of you who are not planning a private dinner, cocktail or fondue party, do you know if they will cut and serve cake at El Cocotal? Also, can some of you share some details about your welcome dinners or parties since my coordinator is MIA? Please include costs if you don't mind!

Thanks rebecca I am using Destinationweddings.com and the travel agent told me that originally the EDSS was the place you would go to to visit your Mexican family in that it was very authentic. Then the EDR was build and that is where you would go to visit your RICH Mexican family! She said that since EDSS has been renovated they are pretty much the equal, and it is just a matter of preference. I do remember her saying that the beaches are different at both locations, but I can't remember specifics.
