are wedding dress sizes like regular sizes or are they usually bigger or smaller? i am looking online to get some ideas (I am going tomorrow, yikes) and i was just trying to decide what to look at. I am a size 18 regularly, so what do you think? Thanks! Amanda

My sis is my MOH and my bro's wife is a BM. My FSIL is also a BM, she is doing nothing. My sis keeps emailing her and calling her to see if she wants to help plan the shower but she only replied once. I was just talking about this to my mom today. It makes me mad because she is one of my best friends. I realize that she lives in CA and I live in PA but come one,you can type just as well as I can. Or pick up the phone. Anyway, I hear ya but at least my sis and my mom and my bro's wife are really into helping which rocks!

We usually go to the Monte Carlo. It is so pretty. The place is so nice and the staff is really great. They have a chinese place that rocks. That is some of the best chinese food we have ever had. We go to Vegas a lot and find that if you go to the actual hotel website, you can sometimes get better deals. The luxor is also okay but it is at the south end of the strip. If you are looking for staying close to the strip, i would try to stay sorta in the middle. it is super fun to walk from casino to casino to see how beautiful they are. The bellagio rocks (tre expensive) and they have an awesome lobby that you have to check out. They do a flower display that changes frequently. But anyway, my point is depending on where you stay you might end up paying a taxi or walking a lot. I think that the stratosphere is a great deal but it is so far from everything. oh, and you have to walk back down through at night to watch the fountain at the bellagio, A MUST

i would be very careful because they are very fragile. I think the box is a good idea.

I went with the steel drum band because i think it will be unique. I am hoping that is is worth it. I think you can find a clip of it on youtube. I don't think it is a great clip but it is still a clip. Good luck!

i picked ROR for the excursions and the size, like heidi did. My TA said that the resorts are about the same in quality and that the food is about the same. She said that what it comes down to was whether or not we like to go places on vacation. She said that NEgril is beautiful and secluded but there are no excursions. That is pretty much why I chose ROR. Hope that it helps a little. Good luck

Stephanie, I was thinking about this while I was trying to sleep last night. What if you took out a little loan? Like maybe for a thousand or something? Maybe you could go through a credit union and find one with good rates. When i first moved on my own, i had nothing and had to get a loan to pay for my security deposit and rent. I know that it sucks to owe money on a loan but it sucks worse to owe money to people that hold it over your head. I will pray for you and your situation. Thanks for the help! I did want to keep the wedding simple, I did not want to invite everyone and their many kids. Also, the thing with my family is this, they are always calling my siblings and i spoiled, saying we get whatever we want. so, in a way, no, i don't want them at my wedding and for that matter, not super upset if they are not at the shower. I am close to one of my cousins and she is the only one that i would want at either the wedding or the shower but i guess i cannot invite just one, can I? I just don't want to offend people more than necessary.
