Ok I booked EDR for Nov 2008. We have been arguing with them as they are charging for every thing we want (outside photographer, outside dj, outside everything) and are in fact being quite rude (should note, I'm from Canada so we book different here and use a travel agent for a one week set date all inclusive). So, travel agent has been corresponding with them. That, mixed with recent bad reviews on trip adviser, friends complaining that its a couple resort, and everything I JUST am at my ends, and don't know what to do! We have 30 booked. Travel Agent said we could change if we want. Where would we go? I liked the look of Royal Playa Del Carmen (spelling) sorry! Any advice?

Ok this might sound dumb BUT Can we rent them there? We are gone for over a week, so that might cost a lot of we rent them in Canada before going there. Has anyone rented a ttux in Meixco somewhere? hahahaha

Ive been a few times to DR and never had a problem I used my blow dryer, straightner, iron etc!

What about Claudia Rodreizues (spelling) Her work is phenomenal. I think quite close in quality to Elizabeth and Sol.

Hello Everyone I am getting married in the Mayan Riviera - El Dorado Royale I am not impressed with the hotels photographer and looking to hire from outside ..... Any tips/suggestions/links? I love Sol and Claudia's work - WOW! but I cant spend more then about $3000 ANYWAY Any lists of photographers out there for me to look at? Thanks in advance Eden

I haven't heard much about the EDR photographer. I do know they charge $500 USD fee should I choose to bring someone in ... I told the resort this was not ok since the quality of their photographer is sub par. I asked who they use and if they offer any choice. Here is what I was told. Yea I know ... I have let everyone know about day passes I am really hoping we can all stay at the same place, but I want to "allow" for people to make their own choice (with my pestering them to come to EDR!) tee hee

Can you girls help me? I am looking for a map of the El Dorado Royale ... well not really. LOL SORRY! Im looking for a map of the Mayan that SHOWS WHERE the EDR is. I have a few guests who might stay at neighboring resorts etc., so something that shows where things are located. I KNOW its easier to have guests all staying in the same place, but ...
