  1. I'm so glad to hear you being so positive about this. I wish you lots of luck on your new adventures!
  2. I ordered via vistaprint.ca and paid with a credit card. I had no additional charges.
  3. I'm really sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you at this time.
  4. I too had Lasik in 2005 after having worn glasses/contacts for over 20 years. I love it and so do many of my friends who have had it done (at least 10 of us). I do have one friend whose husband had the PRK and he did have some problems with dry eyes but I'm pretty sure everything is ok now (about 2 years post op). I'm also fairly sure he drove himself to the doctors office for his check up the day after the surgery and then went back to work.
  5. Some of the people in our party did it and they enjoyed it, but they are 20something. They said it was fairly rigorous so I'm not sure it would be good for the grandparents or other older folks, if they are coming to the wedding.

I'm pretty sure we used to frequent a pub in Harpenden although I'd have to ask him what it was called. I have not been back to England since 1999, and currently have no plans to visit. Currently we live about 30 minutes drive north of Toronto, in Ontario. I've lived here since 1984 and both of our children were born in Canada.
  7. Welcome to the forum! I don't know anything about Jamaica but there is plenty of information here. I see you are in Herts, UK. I grew up in Watford, Herts, but I'm now living in Canada. Where abouts are you?
  8. Looks like a great wedding. Everyone seems to be having so much fun! Lovely photo's. Congratulations!

I would recommend having cups sewn into your dress ... and a little hint form a former pageant girl if you want some extra "oomph" .... have your Mom or a BM bring duct tape ... band over a sqeeze your boobs together to get cleavage ... then apply the duct tape under the boobs. It won't come off even in sticky, sweaty heat, won't show under your slinky dress, and will just look great with some sewn in cups. (Just be sure to rip it off before the wedding night bedroom dance!) I've done the duct tape thing before the only problem is taking it off. Anyone have any good tips for removal?
  10. I agree with Shannon (Shay2679). UPS is by far the worst for charging you for brokerage fees and duty. Whenever possible get the vendor to ship USPS!
  11. I would suggest you contact one of the TA's on this forum. There is a banner at the top of the page with the names of the TA's available.

Welcome to the forum. You are very close to your wedding date! Where are you getting married?
  18. I'm not a bride, but as luck would have it, I am actually planning a trip there next month. We're staying at the Palace but I can walk over to the shops at the Colonial (we've been there before, the Tropical in 2006). The good things is I'm also in Canada so shipping should be cheaper and yay no duty PM me and we can work out the details.
  19. Check out Vistaprint.ca! You should be able to get them for free, just the cost of shipping. You can do just what you describe! A picture on one side and your address on the other. You do it all online and then they ship them to you. Really easy Let me know if you need a coupon code as once you sign up they send you emails daily with specials.
  20. Yari, I have participated in this walk in Toronto, the past 4 years with a friend of mine who is a survivor of multiple myeloma, also a 'blood' cancer. It is a very moving experience. I will once again sponsor my friend, Rhonda. I encourage everyone to help in whatever way they can.
  21. I love your photographs, especially the first one you posted! Can't wait to see the rest!
