I like the idea of having a wrapping party that you just described. I think that would be cute. You should definately do something like that. I would just not call it a bridal shower so there's no confusion that the bride will be there.

I think going beforehand and looking around is definately a good idea and I would definately bring a pad and pen to make a list. I didnt do that. I did sit down with the list they have online from BBB of what they recommend you register for and than crossed out stuff i already had and wrote down stuff that wasnt on the list I didnt have and needed. And even though i brought a list with me I still felt really overwhelmed when i was registering especially at BBB. I think going ahead of time would of put me more at ease. Oh and thank god you can go online afterwards and add stuff or take stuff off. I must of changed mine like 20times.

I used to wear prescriptives foundation, it's very light. But could still feel it, kwim? I just had my makeup done at the Laura Mercier counter and I Love love it. It's like i dont even have foundation on. I use a foundation primer and put tinted moisturizer on over it. I would highly reccomend it. I think there's a thread on here for the brand line, thats what made me pick LM.

Your so not alone on this one there's been so many posts from girls who've had family/friends give them a hard time about their dw. Most of my fam and friends thought it was great and would be fun. My one set of grandparents were bringing up all of the bad things at first but are now excited to go. My other set of grandparents, well really just my grandmother gave me a pretty hard time and they cant make it so they are still giving me a hard time. But when they bring it up I just say to them, it's what i want and dont worry i'll have plenty of pics to show you when i get back. I know a dw is what me and fi want. I would be so miserable and stressed if i was getting married at home. If you know a dw is right for you than stick to your guns.

Wow i actually lost this week. It's funny because when i really think i'm going to gain i somehow manage to lose a little. I still havent figured out how my body works yet. I guess when i think i'm gonna lose a lot, i probably will gain.

The first dress is gorgeous but i really like the 2nd one on you, I like the rouching to the side.

I like the Mori Lees better than the others. i really like the 2nd dress.

I'm going through this thread with a fine tooth comb to see what i can cut back on. I've been a nervous wreck about our finances lately. At least now i know i'm not the only one that has to cut back.

maybe your going through diet coke withdrawal. My mom and uncle are addicted to diet coke and I sware they are miserable when they dont have any for a long stretch of time
