I didnt want to get married here and keep it from my guests because i thought it would hurt feelings if it ever got out. But since i made that decision i've seen tons of girls on here get married legally in the US and have their symbolics in Mexico or the DR. And if I would of had to get my teeth fixed like you than hell ya I would of gotten married here secretly and not felt bad about it. Honestly, I kind of regret not getting married legally at home because now i'm waiting for my marriage license to come which i than have to get translated. Oh since your getting married in Mexico, if you got married legally here you wouldnt have to do the blood tests. Your fi isnt afraid of needles is he? If he is than use that to your advantage.

I agree with everything you just said Kate. If they have such strong beliefs than they should of changed their names to Hitler and Aryan Nation and let their kids have normal names while they grew up.

Shoprite had a policy about not putting anything harmful on the cake or offensive. So i dont blame them for not putting it on there. I think Walmart ended up making the cake for them stating it was the customers wishes. I had to laugh today when i watched the people on the news claiming it's just a name they like while the guy is showing off all his swastikas and hitler tattoos. And i guess they just like the name aryan nation too which isnt even a name. Idiot! If you feel so strongly about your prejudice beliefs than be a man on the news and dont try to bs us by saying it's just a name you like.

Relax. If you've only gained 4lbs and it fits a little differently you can lose that weight in no time. This is just your first fitting, you'll have more to make the dress fit perfectly.

Its completely normal to be so stressed out and fights blow up close to the wedding. I know we had a big fight about a month before too, but i couldnt tell ya what it was about now. And DO NOT breakdown and get the gm gifts. If he knows that he can just not do it because you'll cover for him, he'll always be like that. So hold your ground, and dont do the last 2 things hes supposed to take care of. I wouldnt even nag him about it, maybe in a week ask if he did them. kind of like a reminder kind of thing. The more you nag him, the more he'll be annoyed with you (even though its his fault for not getting it done) and he wont want to do it.

I'm sorry about your Grandpa. my dh gets upset when i do stupid things too, but it usually a 5 minute lecture and a "why would you do that" kinda of thing and then he drops it. Really Doug needs to get over it or at least not ignore you. Your not a kid that disobeyed him, you had an accident. Accidents happen. Dont beat yourself up over it. Does he know how upset you are about your grandpa? I hope he gets over it and is there to comfort you during this hard time.

We made a list of things we wanted from the resort like: - all inclusive - kids allowed - how far from airport - good food and a lot of restaurants, I wanted my guests to have a lot of different choices - quality of rooms (dh insisted the rooms had jacuzzi tubs in them, it was his one demand but caused so much stress trying to accomadate it) - a nice beach and pool (with swim up bar) - wedding choices and contact with the WC. I wanted a place that didnt take the WC weeks to get back to me. I emailed a lot of resorts and asked questions. If somewhere took too long I weeded them out. Keep in mind it does average 3 days for most resort's WCs to email you back but if its taking a week that's probably not good. I had very little contact with the WC until the last month, because i wasnt ready to make decisions until then. but in that last month she got back to me on a daily basis. also i looked at for the wedding portion I would sit down with your fi and make a list of things you would really like at the resort and a price range. Than maybe talk to a TA to get some recomendations.

great stuff and i got married before and still didnt post my planning thread. i'm such a bad bdwer. I better do that this weekend.

his beard is seriously creepy! He's just slimey! did they say they got married the same night he got her hammered. I wasnt sure if the wedding was the next day, i thought i missed something since the video of it was during the day. I dont think they even showed the ceremony part, just the part of them walking out the church drinking champagne.

I cant look at it at work, i'll have to do it when i get home.
