Welcome to the forum. I was married in Punta Cana and this site was a lot of help. Definately check out the wedding reviews and the Dominican Republic Section. But if you have certain resorts your interested in I would contact their Wedding Cordinators and ask about the wedding packages and options they have so you know what each one offers.

Welcome to the forum. I'm about 5 minutes from Philly in S Jersey. I'm sure there are a ton of great resorts for you to choose from. Goodluck with your planning!

Having a plan B is a great idea. I hope you dont have to use it though. The place Maureen posted was gorgeous. I was going to suggest Punta Cana. I got married in Punta Cana and it was beautiful there. the people were really nice. I think my resort isnt what you are looking for but there are a lot of smaller resorts that might work for you in Punta Cana. I'm not a TA so i dont have any specific info for other resorts. Sorry goodluck. if you have any questions about Punta Cana in general pm me.

Jaime what do you really want to do? I think if you want to do the co-ed strip club party than you should do it. If your friend cant go i would not dwell on it, just forget it and have fun. now if its really important to have everyone hang out, have you thought about just having like a house party thing after the lingerie shower? But I really think its up to you what you guys want to do. Dont let anyone else tell you what you should do or that your crazy. And if you dont want to do a bachlorette than scrap it.

I'm sorry Kara this is awful. I'm crossing my fingers that your TA can find you another destination to get married at or reschedule you for June so you can still have your dream wedding.

They changed the setups so much since i got married. I do really like the new aqua centerpieces i didnt like the ones they had for mine these are a lot better with the sand and shells.

did you email fi's bro or his fiancee? I think guys have a tendency to ignore these kind of thing like its no big deal so maybe you should try emailing the bros' fi to see if she responds. Now if she doesnt respond I might get a little worried that they arent going but just dont want to tell yas.

is there a WC at the Royal? I would ask them. My resort did the fireworks show for receptions, maybe the royal will too.

Looks like a lot of girls have had this happen to their pets and it was nothing. I'm sure it will be the same in your case. Let us know how you make out at the vet. I hope everything turns out fine.
