    I really like the flowered sleeves (I'm not sure what to call it). She should of tied up the dress for you. She sounds like a real piece of work. Some places are so funny about letting you take pics. But I can tell that it's really pretty. The roses on the skirt are gorgeous, can't see the crystals really good but they must be beautiful. Congratulations! You must be so excited!

    Yeah his friends suck and so does my fi's. We are kinda in the same boat. We were only having 2 bm & 2gm. Well fi's bestman just told us last week that he's now not going. I was thinking about not having anybody in the wedding party but I already asked my sister to be my moh and his sister to be my bm. So instead fi is having his dad as his bestman. Family is reliable! Do you have anyone in your families that he is very close to? I have seen pics of some weddings that had 2 bms and no gms. It looked fine. I think you can do whatever you want with a dw. Like there aren't any rules.

    I drink skim. Never tried soy or rice milk. I hate whole and 2%, tastes think to me. grosses me out.

    Hi Renee congratulations to you and Danny on your engagement. I'm getting married at the Paradisus Palma Real in PC. I have some pics and resort info if you would like to see it send me a pm. There's a new resort that just opened called the EdenH. from the pics it looked very nice too. There are a few girls on here getting married at the Paradisus Punta Cana it's very nice and less expensive than the Palma Real. Is there anything your looking for? Have you talked to a TA?

    Wow that is some story. Your not overeacting at all. Is there anyone that you could get to talk to your mom like one of her sisters or brothers (if she has any)? Maybe she wouldn't listen to you because, your her daughter and moms think they know best (usually do). I really don't know what else to say to you, sorry. This is just too crazy.

    I have a vegetarian in our group and another person that doesn't eat red meat. They would both eat the lobster. Do you think it's okay to have surf-n-turf even though they don't eat meat? That may be my only workable option. I would love to do the Beach BBQ but you need a min of 45 people (well at least pay for 45 ppl) same with buffett. Looks like we are only going to have 30 people.

    My wedding is in Nov 2008. I sent out my STDs at the end of Nov 2007. Will probably send formal invites in May.

    I didn't know this rule last year and neither did my coworker. She had a whole bag of clinique make up in her carry on. Airport security pretty much threw out hundreds of dollars in make up. She was so upset, it was awful.

    Your post is great for any girl looking into Cancun. I wish I could of visited all of the places we were interested in. I would of loved to get to see each resort. That's great you were able to. Great post!

    The OOT bags are traditionally for an at home wedding, you would give them to the guests who came from out of town. But with a DW it's more like a welcome bag because no one is from that town. I guess the throwing of the garter is an american thing. First the Groom takes the garter off the bride by his teeth! And than he throws it behind his back to all of the bachelors at the wedding. Whomever catches the garter gets to put in the bachelorette that caught the bouquet. It's pretty funny!
