HI welcome to the forum. I can't help you with PV or Cabo but I was originally getting married at the Dreams in Punta Cana and it was taking a really long time to hear back from the wc (like over a week sometimes) so i ended up switching resorts (not just that reason). I was told that particular Dreams resort did many weddings daily (5 or 6 a day). Maybe they are just as busy in pv too.

I love love those ones. I want boarding pass invites. fi wants to order them but I kinda want to try and make them myself. Yours are unbelievable. Really good, not sure if I could do such a great job. but i wanna try :-)

Welcome to the forum and goodluck with your date. I had to go with my 3rd choice for a date, all of my choices were in Nov which was off season.

I'm getting married in the DR and I won't have a time until the judge decides which i'm told won't be for months. I just went ahead and sent out STDs, did my website, and will probably order invites soon.

My vegetarian does eat seafood which is good for me but i'll have to check to make sure she eats lobster. When I talk to the wc about it i'll let you know what she says but i'm going to wait till I talk to all of my guests to see if they all will eat lobster or if there are any other dietary restrictions i have to worry about! There's always something I have to worry about!!! Never ending.

I've pretty much gone over my budget on everything that I purchased so far which includes my bm gifts and oot bags. But i'm finding such great ideas on this website that I can't help but want to do them all! Not sure about this hostess gift though, maybe i'll just do thank you cards. And if I have any money in my bank account when my shower comes, i'll try to get a small gift.

Well first we decided we wanted an all-inclusive so people wouldn't have to worry about paying for food and drinks while there. Next we had to find a place that allows children. We looked up each place on tripadvisor and looked at travelers pics to see what the place was like and read some reviews to see how the food and service was. (you can listen to every review some people just don't like anything, you can tell from the general rating of each hotel) I also found some reviews from brides on trip advisor. So i would send each bride a message. Asking if there was anything she didn't like, where she had her ceremony, if resort guests were in the middle of her wedding pics, how food was, etc etc. After I narrowed it down to a few places. I emailed each of their wedding cordinators for menus, price lists for ceremony and reception options. And that's basically how I did mine.

Both my ceremony and reception are on the beach. I'm going to wear barefoot sandals. I love them, perfect for a beach wedding! They won't kick up the sand.
