Tami I know you weren't happy with the first mug because of logo size but i think it looks fine. If I was a guest, i think i'd prefer the one with the handle so my hand doesn't get cold from all the daquiris, margaritas, and pina coladas I would be planning on drinking! Plus they are bigger to hold more drink. That is if you can find enough lids to fit on them.

That's pretty bad. She probably thinks she was doing you a favor by letting her daughter be your flower girl without you even asking! Some people are too much! Hopefully she didn't mention it to her daughter but if she did, maybe you could tell her how you aren't having flower girls because it's a nontraditional wedding. But maybe you could ask her to be your special helper and give her a small job like handing out programs.

We have almost all family going. Just two friends. I'm bummed over it too, but most of our friends are trying to get pregnant, planning a wedding of their own (can't afford to do both), or can't afford to go. There are a few people that are waiting till about 4 months before the wedding to decide if they are going or not. When we were first telling people we had almost 60 "we're definately going"s and we only have 28 ppl booked.

Wow this is a tough situation. I think that fi should tell his brother. But maybe he should wait till after Mexico. Definately don't tell him during Mexico, that could ruin your time. It would be alotta Drama! I wonder why fi didn't get upset about, I would be so pissed if my bro was cheated on. I would talk to fi about it, tell him that you really think his bro should know what kind of girl he's involved with.

After talking to the wedo people, the paperwork (on our end) doesn't sound like it's too much work. but the expense of paying for all the paperwork to get done and than paying for a legal ceremony is pretty high. Getting married at a court house, seems like a pretty good idea. you would probably save yourself almost $1,000.

OMG, I'm trying not to talk to my grandmother because if i have to hear "i hope your going to at least get married by a priest. or i will be really disappointed." My family doesn't even to go church!!! Oh and "i don't know if we can travel that far" this is coming from people who travel a lot farther to college football games on the weekend. "Oh, anyone can come can't they. It's not like your paying for a reception. everyone just pays for themself." Hello I'm paying for a reception and not anyone can come, that's what the invitations I sent out are for. It's not someone's family vacation. It's my wedding and a vacation with the people I want to spend the time with. "did you have to pick somewhere so expensive" NO I DIDNT. i could of picked a shack on the beach but i that's not what i wanted. if you don't want to spend the mula than don't go!!! Picking the resort is the toughest decision you will have to make. I drove myself crazy trying to pick a resort that I thought would please everyone. I put a lot of pressure on myself but turns out that most people would of been happy with whatever I picked. So don't stress yourself out when you pick the right place you'll know.
