Oh Maura, all of that sounds awful. I'm so sorry that your family is making an already stressful situation (planning your wedding) more stressful for you. Hopefully they will start to come around and realize how insensitive they are being.

I have to confess that I don't really want my grandparents coming to my wedding. It's my mother's parents. they had a falling out and haven't talked for years. I still talk to them. I think it would just be a huge big fight or awkwardness the whole time so I'd rather them just not go. Plus I would feel like i had to keep them both away from each other the whole time, and i dont want to worry about that stuff.

That's awful that they would protest her funeral when people are trying to mourn for her. That will be so upsetting for the family. I hope the police can do something to help protect the family. Some people are very inconsiderate of others and that group has no shame.

That website has some really good prices. I thought i was done buying stuff for my OOT bags but now I might get some more stuff. Can't resist a good bargain.

Hmm, the dress. fi's sister got married in Mexico about 2 years ago and she just went up to a flight attendant and let them know she had her dress and she would like to put it in their closet. She asked before they started to let people board, and they were fine with it. I'm hoping that i don't have any probs either.

I guess this is what I'm doing since i'm handing out my OOT bags about a month before we leave. I'm making CDs with songs to get people excited about going away and than putting mostly all stuff that would go in an OOT bag like tylenol, pepto, luggage tags, spanish for dummies books, stadium cups with our logos, etc. I'm going to make a little packet with the hotel info like restaurants, dress codes, travel regulations, etc. I purchased so much stuff for my bags that it's just easier for me to deliver them before we leave, instead of carrying them down with me. I'm probably going to have enough stuff to carry down.
