I never wanted a big wedding, I don't like being the center of attention and I would hate a big ceremony and reception I would feel like all eyes were on me. Not my thing. Always wanted to get married on a beach. fsil was married in a gazebo off the beach in riviera maya and the whole week vacation together was so much fun and her wedding was what i consider to be perfect, small intimate and a ton of fun. Less expensive was also a plus, but now it's seems like things are adding up.

Yeah, i'm getting tired of paying for every little thing. When I first saw $900 I thought that was outrageous, but I think i'm becoming numb to the high prices.

I know how you feel, i feel like i'm obsessed with my OOT bags and favors right now. And I'm trying not to tell anybody what i purchased for them so they can be surprised but it's KILLING me to hold it in. Take a break if you need, I know I took a break from planning (not bdw I'm addicted) but I felt a lot better after a few weeks of no planning. I hope you can let go of some of your stress during your planning-break.

I was going to do the $900 dance floor because my reception is on the beach. I thought it might be too hard to dance in the sand and didn't want sand being kicked up at my guests. Do you know if lights are included with the dance floor?

We're not doing a welcome dinner. We are going to try to do a group dinner at one of the all inclusive restaurants. We can't do our whole group at one time so we'll just do my family one night, his family another night. And our friends another night.

Angela your not a bad bride, I have no idea what to put on my programs either.

I've gone from 68 definate people to only 32 booked. My grandparents were definately going and now my grandfather hasn't been feeling well so now they are most likely NOT going. And i'm sure picking out decorations, todos, and money would probably be a lot worse if you were getting married locally. At least where I live I would have a lot more decisions to make and need a lot more money to spend. There were a lot of days that fi and I weren't talking to family members and friends, even each other due to wedding planning disagreements. But things have gotten better and I think my wedding day will be so worth the hassle. I figure if I was getting married locally there would be a lot more hassles. And you always have us bdw girls to vent and ask questions to and advice from. Your not alone!

We were dating 3 and a half years before he popped the question.

I didn't want a wedding party fi did but I did convince him to keep it small 2 bm and 2 gm. they are all immediate family because family is dependable. Most of our friends that were supposed to attend the wedding flaked on us including Derek's bestman (his dad is his new bestman).

The invites are adorable and i think that's a great gift idea. Keep on coming up with great ideas for us to steal.
