i actually referred a few girls from that site and brides.com to here. i didn't find any good info on there. And alot of the time when i would ask a question about locations, the responses would be from travel agents not other brides. and the agents would want to speak to me on the phone and try to get my business. when i only wanted a brides' opionion of their location. it was kinda annoying after awhile.

I love your pics. they seem very natural and everyone looked comfortable in the pics. i hate having my pic taken, so i want a photog that will make me feel comfortable. i say kick her out. I don't see why she can't go without him, or why he can't go anyway. I know kids birthdays are a big deal, but they could do a little celebration for him there, and when they get home a week later they can do a big party. what's the difference?! And taking a 5 yr old out of school shouldn't be a problem. it's not going to be that many days is it? why can't she go without them for a couple of days? She could have a nice vacation.

I would be so peeved too. Photography is a lot more important than a DJ. I'm finally starting to convince my fi to hire an outside photgrapher. i haven't really liked the resort photographer pics and i've emailed them to see if i could get some samples of their work and what their packages include, i never got a response. But i don't know how much a dj in NY would cost for your ahr. let us know what kind of prices you get.

i never would of done it with out this thread either. It's not like i never thought of doing something like this, but i wouldn't of actually tried doing it without all of the support on this site. thanks girls! I have a couple of people that are going to do it a few months before my wedding. it really isn't bad especially for 30 days. And i think i'm already starting to feel better.

Her dress is absolutely gorgeous. She looked so pretty in it too. And so happy. I didn't like the sis dress at all.

i havent had any cramping yet whatsoever. but i have been gassy now and then. the tea is pepperminty, not bad at all. i do find it soothing to drink, i feel like it's my end of the day nightcap. sounds weird i know...

ive pooped every morning so far. Once right when i woke up, but the other days seems like i go about 20 minutes after the drink. Which is getting less gross everytime i drink it. Today i took my pills and drink like a pro!

fsil had her wedding during memorial day weekend 2006. flights were slightly higher but not bad. but it was really nice for the people that were just coming for the weekend they got an extra day. And a lot of people did go because of it. I think the room rates were the same. I went for the week so i don't know how the airport was on the trip in, but on the way home, it was really crowded but not too bad. No one complained about it.

you might want to check the weather channel's website i think they can give you sunset time all over the world. Also you might want to keep in mind the temperatures at those times. my fsil's wedding was at 6 pm in Riviera Maya but others were at 2pm and we would see these people all dressed up and feel so bad for them. They had to be dying from the heat, even 6 pm was hot. but that was in end of May.

they baby shower for my bros wife ended up being really nice. It was a lot of work, but she really enjoyed it so it was worth it. Of course i totally went of my diet this weekend, and now i'm back on. so my weigh in for the biggest losers isn't going to be good this Weds. i'm just going to try to be really good to try to make up for it. My bm dresses are a chiffon material so they will be flowy on the beach. And i'm getting them in a turqoise color. Here's a pic from the designers website: it's actually one of the two i picked out in December but than we changed gm shirts so i went out looking at 5 other stores, and still came back to this dress. i really love it. i don't know why i kept looking. my sis isn't too fond of it she doesn't think it looks right on her. I tried to explain to her that she was trying on a size 10 and she's like a size 4, so once it's fitted to her it will look great. She's such a skinny little beyoch, she will look great in anything!

Men! I actually had a semi fight with fi last week about what he was wearing the the wedding. We are having custom shirts done. they are linen with embroidery going down them. Well i want the gm to wear short sleeve white shirts with the turqoise embroidery and him a long sleeve shirt with the same embroidery. i told him he could roll up the sleeves to make them 3/4 which he used to wear his shirts like that all the time. especially in the summer when we would go out down the shore. He had the nerve to say to me, that he isn't wearing long sleeves. I was like wtf, i know plenty of guys that are wearing linen suits and you can't wear sleeves. i'm wearing a fricking gown. give me a greak. And when we go down to punta cana in nov, it's not even that hot, high is like 84 and the night time is like 76. which our wedding will be around 5. plus the shirt is linen so it's light anyway. Oh and than we went to a Tommy Bahama store and he was looking at shirts, and he picked out a long sleeved shirt to wear on our trip. I was like hello? how can you wear that but not a wedding shirt. I think i "mistakingly" order him a long sleeve shirt. He just loves being a Pain in the A$$

the people that didn't show up, really could of just showed for an hr and eat some fing cake like you said. Even if your moh was going to lunch with her mom, she could of arranged it so she could do both. I'm sure your friends meant well when planning the shower, they just didnt' plan it well. First priority should be that the date works well with the btb's schedule.
