    I was going to go down to the shore tomorrow and go to a bbq on sunday. I was kinda excited about taking the weekend off from wedding planning, but it's going to rain tomorrow. So instead i'll be registering at kohls and trying to get the linen pants for the gms and my dad. Maybe i'll take off next weekend. What do you girls have planned?

    Yeah Ta Maureen!!! OMG, as i read this thread i just realized who you were. I've never actually met you. But i talked to kate about going to your wedding because i know your sis kristen. not really good but she used to live over my work. wow it really is a small world out there.

    that's a great idea to go back to celebrate your anniversary. Hmmm i wonder if my hotel does special rates like that too... We were hoping to go to Hawaii for our one year, but i'm not sure we'll have the $ for that.

    I'm having my ceremony and reception on the beach. me and the bms are wearing barefoot sandals for the ceremony and i bought flip flops for the reception. But i'm not sure what to have the guys wear. Any of you girls that got married on the beach or had a reception what do you recommend having the guys wear on their feet? nothing, flip flops, sandals, etc. And was their sand flying around everywhere for anyone who wore flip flops?

    i got the free address labels from them and downloaded a wedding logo on it, looked really cute. and the postcards with wedding logo came out nice too.

    I really like the idea of you personalizing their gifts. It sounds like you already have ideas in mind for each girl. i'm sure they would love that.

    I voted too chicken but would love to do it. I always love looking at ttd pics but i could never do it. I would never be able to look sexy, i would just be cracking up, plus i know fi would never do it. he hates pic as it is.

    I thought the nemo sand molds were really cute, i saw them last week. cutterwoods is good bug spray too. I might go get a couple of cans, i already bought bug spray for my oot bags but since then i couple of guests were added on. I think the guests would love the floats. and it would be hysterical seeing a bunch of adults on aligator floats. lol

    Welcome to the forum from another pc bride. my parents stayed at the melia about 4 yrs ago and loved it, they said it was beautiful. Make sure you check out the Nov 08 Brides thread and the Dominican threads.

    I would do both if you can like morgan suggested. We are planning on paying some credit card debt off and if we have enough maybe getting hardwood floors or new carpet (most likely) in our family room.

    I think these are the best welcome booklets i've seen and there have been so many great ones. I was going to do a welcome brochure but i want to include a bunch of info, i think this welcome book is the way to go. Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks so much for the idea. So you just bought a regular journal from hobby lobby and pasted cardstock to it? I think i'm actually capable of this diy project. WooHoo! so excited to do this now!

    i'm not sure what the heavest is, but i used 110lb for my boarding pass invites, that was pretty heavy.

    Congratulations Terri! Wow, how did i move up so much. I was starting to feel a little discouraged because all of my clothes are still tight. At least now i can see i'm making progress, hopefully i'll be seeing some results soon.
