interesting thread. fi and i were discussing going to hawaii for a one year anniversary but i don't think we'll have the 7k to go next year.

I'm glad that you are now happy with the new WC and resort. It really stinks that they tried to change things up on you like that. I'm glad that you did change resorts so maybe they will learn not to do that to people.

I think the halter does make you look a little busty but maybe it's just a funny angle. I really love the strapless one, its a beautiful dress on you. It just fits you really nicely and it's very flattering.

My mom is the opposite of pushy, bossy, and noisy. My dad is noisy but not in an opionated way, he just likes to know what's going on. I don't know if that makes sense.

I really like your invites Steph. I love the raffis ribbon you used, it's such a nice tropical touch. And the flip flops are so stinkin cute, you could start making them and selling them to a ton of brides on this site. So are all of you girls doing guest books? I can't decide if i want one.

Time has just flown by. I'm starting to get back on track. I started working on my Getting read for Punta Cana packets. I've just fooled around with a few things like packing info. Nothing is complete just yet. I really have to get all the gm's measurements so i can order the custom shirts for the wedding. And i have a bunch of diy projects that i would like to get started like programs. I've been really slacking this month. We've had a lot of plans on the weekend and i just didn't feel like doing wedding stuff but looking at my ticker i realize i only have 4 and a half months. And the last month i'm going to be really busy with fittings, dropping off oot bags (i'm handing them out before we go), and whole bunch of other stuff. I'm starting to get excited girls!!! We are getting close now.

I like dress #1 but if you don't feel comfortable with the bow than you should keep looking. I'm sure you can find something similar without the bow.

Please don't worry. I'm sure everything will work out. your daughter is with fis parents so she'll be fine and your parents will get there. And if your parents ever don't listen to you again you can always bring up the time you told them to be at the airport early and they didn't listen.

fsil wedding was at Aventura Spa Palace and it was an absolutely gorgeous resort. if you want to see pics from our trip let me know by pm. Everyone loved the resort, they had about 48 people there. No one had a single complaint. Riviera Maya has some really beautiful resorts.

That is just adorable. i wish the kids we have going were a little older so i could steal this idea.

My brother did finally call my parents and apologized and his wife apologized too about a week ago. And my mom was really eager to forgive. My dad was still a little pissed until he saw the baby. lol And my bro and his wife have already had my parents babysit. And they want my mom's help when my dad goes back to work. My oh my how things have changed. hehe sil said she was having a really hard time with the baby with breast feeding and she wasn't feeling well. but im still a little pissed at them. I can understand if your having probs with the baby and your not feeling well but it still gives you no right to be rude to my parents. And i feel like my dad gave her the perfect opportunity to retract her comments when he asked her to repeat it to my mother. right then and there she should of realized what she said was inconsiderate and reworded it. But it's done now. i still havent talked to my bro. I plan on calling him soon, i just hold grudges sometimes. But i'm going to stop being stubborn and call him. I want to see the baby!!!

I really like the bm dresses i'm sure once everyone is all dolled up they will look fabulous in them. I really don't blame you for being aggravated. You asked them to pick out their own dresses, and they didn't so you had to. You ask them to pick out their own jewelry, and they don't so you had to. I wouldn't go crazy looking for new earring, since you do know somewhere you can get inexpensive studs than i would either go with them or just keep the starfish earrings.

Ewwww, now that's superficial. I do know girls that had to pick out their ring like fsil but she's a picky person. it didn't have to do with so much the size of the ring more the design aspect. But i know if her hubby had proposed to her with a different ring she would of said yes regardless because she loved him and wanted to marry him. Her dh had a limit of what he wanted to spend and she kind of just picked the design of ring she wanted. But to not want to marry someone because the ring is ugly to you is crazy. God bless the poor sap that falls into her web.

Wow $270 for 10 days is really cheap, wish i lived near you. I think if he/she does a really good job than you should give them a little something. I think it would be a nice gesture.

I just read this whole thread. And i agree with the she's jealous of you posts. And i really like Rebecca's deadly cold niceness routine. That would probably drive a bitch like that up a wall. That would really piss her off! lol

I would love the mickey mouse passport cover for my ringbearer, he loves mickey!!!

Same thing happened to my coworker. Except she wasn't drinking and it wasn't pre pee. Eeeh gross. She had to spring for a new phone too.
