Welcome to the forum. I stayed at the Bahia prob about 4 yrs ago. I really like it. I didn't see any weddings there so i can't help you with that. But i've been to riviera maya a couple of times and its a really great area. there are so many places your guests can go to for shopping and excursions that aren't very far away. goodluck!

really like the stamp that has the date on it. I think you did a great job.

I love Frank's. I don't like hot sauces that have a strong after taste and Franks doesn't have that. It's not real hot it's more of a mild sauce which is the taste i like.

That is a really great setup they have there. the place is so cute. I want one of those chocolate boxes your mom made, they look so yummy!!!

If you are that nervous that it's making you sick about getting married at the Riu than i definately wouldn't do it. Maybe you could do what sassy just suggested, stay there get married somewhere else. If not, i have yet to hear anything bad about Dreams from any of the tons of girls on here. You just sound really uncomfortable with Riu and i would hate for you to be a nervous wreck for the next year.

I don't blame you at all!!! i'm not a TA either. But i haven't gotten a lot of emails from liberty travel lately with specials for Mexico area. you might want to just look at your local paper to get an idea of what places have some good deals right now. Where are all the TA's on here? I'm sure they will be able to help you out.

I'm sort of in agreement with Alyssa. I have two dogs myself, and i would be a nervouse wreck if i left them outside unattended for even a short period of time. I don't really get the outside dog thing either. that's just my opinion I'm sure your a really good mom to your furbabies, you just do it different than me thats all. And i do get how your dog loves being outside, my one dog loves being outside when it's nice but i feel like i have to force him in after a couple of hours to come because i don't want him outside that long especially with the heat. I would also be a nervous wreck that someone would steal my dog. I know quite a few people that had their dogs stolen from their own backyard. I can be a bit paranoid when it comes to my furbabies. and it was very nice of you to take in the neglected dog and nurse it back to health.
