I give them less than a year too. But i don't really like Mariah, i think she's a nutjob. I used to like her back in the day but have grown to not be able to stand her. I felt bad for her after he little mental episode but now i'm back to her annoying me. sorry to any mariah fans.

I sent ours out as soon as we picked out location which was about a year before the wedding date. I did a magnet with our wedding date and Punta Cana, Dr on it. I mailed a letter with the magnet that had our TA info and the resort info. for resort info i put a description of the resort - All inclusive, kids allowed, rooms had jacuzzis, beac was beautiful. that kind of thing made it sound like an appealing vacay. I basically took some sentences off the resort website.

Welcome to the forum. there are a lot of dreams brides on here so be sure to check out their reviews. i'm a paradisus bride they have locations in Riviera Maya and Punta Cana, i think they also sound like something you would like.

me and fi always watch those celebrities shows on vh1 and he's always on there. He really messed up, he had so much going for him too.

Have you thought about letting your guests choose their own resort? Maybe you could give them a choice of an all-inclusive and a non AI. You could have the wedding at the non AI. Or do you want to keep everyone at the same resort? There are some really nice AIs. I've seen a lot of girls get married at the Dreams Tulum, did you check that AI out yet?

You should definately send something. It will at the very least put your mind at ease. I like the idea of a postcard, i think that would be perfect and you'd save $ on postage. there's a post from Morgan on how to make a postcard on vista if you need help.

Your fi really stuck his foot in his mouth!!! If you love that dress that stay with that dress. He has no idea what it looks like on you he just saw it in a catalog and that's not the same as seeing it in person. Honestly, i do really like both dresses so pick which ever you are most comfortable with.

I really like the dress with the pleating. Adore the shoes and i do think you should get a different necklace, something a little more colorful or daring but i like color.

dez - thats ashame about your dog. Pits really do get a bad rap. It's not the breed that would so much make a dog aggressive, its people that train their dog to be that way. It's ashame a lot of people don't understand that and just assume your dog can't be trusted. Amarillis - i'm glad that Jackson is doing good. Your response to your friend was good. She needed to be aware that it was a serious bite and you let her know. It was a very nice, polite email so it shouldn't offend her in anyway.

I know i shouldn't go on the scale as much as i do but i'm always checking it. Mondays are usually bad for me too.

Ashley this is some info in Punta Cana area. The Bavaro Beach is where a lot of resorts are located the beach is a white sand beach with crystal blue water, very beautiful beaches. You have to look at each resorts to see if it's swimmable because i do know that some resorts have calmer waters. it has something to do with how close they are to the gulf i think, something like that. Mine is supposed to be swimmable. Most of the resort i looked into (Paradisus Palma Real, Iberostar, Paradisus Punta Cana, Dreams, and Melia Tropical Caribe) all had places for private receptions and gazebos. Dreams PC had a very pretty terrace with a beautiful view, i was going to book there but the WC was really hard to get a hold of so i backed out but that's when they were just transitioning from Sunscape to Dreams. But i do think i saw a post recently about some girls having a hard time getting hold of the WC there, you should look at that post and maybe pm a few of the girls to see if the problems were resolved. I didn't do a site visit so i'm only going by pics for locations and talking to other brides on here, tripadvisor, and Debbie's dominican travels. My parents did stay at the Melia about 4 yrs ago and loved it there. Said the food was good, the beach was one of the nicest if not the nicest they have been to (they do travel a lot), and the resort was beautiful. It sounds like some the girls dont' think cabo meets some of your requirements. I know that Riviera Maya, MX is a really pretty area too. I went to a wedding at the Aventura Spa Palace (adults only) it was very nice, there was a beach that had a lagoon instead of an ocean but it was really pretty. the lagoon was made so people could swim in the ocean otherwise it may be too rough. I have pics from our trip as well as from the wedding there if you want to see. I stayed at the Bahia Principe there too and they had large rocks placed in the ocean so people could swim in it too. I know theres a Dreams (Dreams Tulum) in that area i'm sure some girls on here could give you info on there and I think Moon Palace is nearby too, there were quite a few girls that got married there recently. If you can do a site visit for the area you narrow it down too than i would. I think it would really help put your mind at ease. If i could of done one, i definately would of. I'm sorry this is so long, i'm just trying to help. Please don't make yourself sick with worry, you can definately find a place you are comfortable with that your guests will love.

Bridal shower is gift giving, you get showered with gifts and a bachlorette party is more like a party, it's supposed to be your last night out as a single woman. But you can celelbrate it however you want, some girls do spa days, some go bar hopping, some have a house party. I think a bridal shower is about 1 to 2 mos before the wedding. and a bachlorette is usually a couple of weeks before the wedding. Bridal party is usually in charge of bachlorette party. and i would say that the bridal party and parents of bride and groom usually handle the bridal shower.

I don't think i ever posted this after i got them, they are really nice. I absolutely love every thing i ordered. i got 4 tanks and a pair of undies and the quality of all of them were really great. I'm so glad I saw Amys post.
