As a girl, it's very normal to be constantly doing wedding related or thinking about the wedding but i think guys see this as being obsessed even if we aren't involving them. Me and my fi have had a lot of fights about the wedding and just like Maura's situation we have fights about me or him not cleaning up after ourselves that sort of thing, but it's just a fight like 10 minutes later we're fine. If he ever said he felt trapped than i would take it very seriously. I think you should take a break from the wedding stuff, even if you don't think your doing it that much just don't do anything for a few weeks and just focus on your relationship. I wouldn't just leave until you try to at least talk it out. Maybe he's just stressed right now and feeling overwhelmed.

i bought a whole bunch of beach themed frames at kohls too that i'm giving to the wedding party. they had abunch of different ones. gotta love kohls!

I used it for all of the above and thank you cards for pre wedding gifts. You can basically put it on almost anything in your wedding if you want too. i had tshirts from vista print made with out logo on it and had "Maid of Honor" "Bridesmaid" etc put over the logo. You don't have to use a logo but i think it's fun.

I love Kohls. The dress is very pretty and i'm a big fan of starfish theme. I love all the starfish stuff. It will all go great on the tables together. And i see you found a starfish for your ring.

You look gorgeous, the resort and ceremony setup is gorgeous, your ring is gorgeous. is that your daughter in the pics, shes adorable? Your pics are stunning! I have to ask where you got your hair flower and flip flops from. they are both so nice. I'm starting to look at hair flowers now not sure what to get. I love yours.

the taxes at the ppr are 26% too, i think it includes gratuties.

Is Trop Pics the resort photog? Cause photosouvenir isn't the resort photog, they're an outside vendor. PS did get permission from the higher ups, so hopefully there shouldn't be a problem for the Dream girls.

I made a list like that too. When we first told everyone. We had about 180 people invited, 62 told us they were definately coming, and now that everyone is booked we only have 30 people. All of the people that my dad had to invite aren't going. Is there really a chance that the extra people she wants to invite will come? If you really don't think they'll come i would just invite them to keep the peace, but i give in easy.

I think everyone of us has had to deal with some criticism about getting married away. But you gave your guests almost a 2 yr notice, that's plenty of time for them to save up if they really want to go. This is probably the first DW your mom is going to so right now she is giving you flack but after your wedding she will be bragging to all of her friends how it was the most beautiful best wedding experience she was ever at. I think you should just tell your mom this is what you want and you would really appreciate it if she stopped asking you. And everyone that goes is going to have the time of their lives and people who didn't go will probably regret it. You have to have the wedding you want. As long as you and fi are happy with your decision that should be it. And please don't be shocked or hurt if certain people can't make it. I had so many people say they would definately come at one point we had 62 definates and now we only have 30 ppl booked. My one set of grandparents backed out for health reasons and because it's so far to travel. They travel far all of the time and this is a lot shorter than most of their trips but whatever, i just shrugged my shoulders and said that's okay. I learned that if i'm having a DW i have to be prepared for people to back out.

You could wear your traditional dress for the ceremony and maybe change into a lighter dress for the reception. May is really hot in Mexico.

there's a ton of girls that do welcome packets with brochures and booklets. You should take a look at them just to see what kind of things they have in them.

I really like the cupcakes that Tammi (foxytv) had for ahr. they had chocolate starfish on the top and the cupcakes were on a cake stand. it looked really cute. and they are easy to eat with your hands, no fork required.

I went to a wedding at the aventura about 2 yrs ago. The wedding was great no problems and the resort was gorgeous. i have pics on snapfish if you want to see them that send me a pm.
