Hannah a lot of girls were married and are getting in the DR and loved it. I did. But i dont know as far as more affordable in my case it wasnt but i'm sure that varies with the resort choices and where your coming from.

Carly you just reminded me that i never changed the homeowners insurance policy to us being married. I gotta do that.

Wow you girls are saving a bunch, mine went down $13 for 6 months. so a whole $26 a year in savings. NJ auto insurance sucks!

i've been meaning to post this since dh told me about it. LC was on the view weeks ago and they asked her about the apology phone call from Spencer and LC said "let me put it this way I never received a phone call from him" so basically mtv just made up a whole apology phone call. I know the hills is staged and all but that's kinda over the top.

I always wash them in hot water because in my head i feel like it kills more germs. not sure if its true. I do clean my comforter in cold though.

Abbie i'm a dirtball too! i dont want to read this article. i voted everyother week but its more like every 2-3 weeks. i'm not exact about the every other week. I dont even sleep in bed most of the time because i always fall asleep on the couch and than i dont want to wake dh up because he only sleeps for 5 hrs so i stay on the couch until he gets ready for work.

I would just keep in mind that if you do a big booklet postage is going to be expensive, i dont know how many you would have to send out. I waited and gave mine just to the people that actually booked. but with my STDS i sent out a letter that had some resort facts and some stuff about the DR to get everyone interested.

what about kabobs? you could do chicken, beef, and just veggie

Do not pay for her. I know layovers suck but if your wedding was important to her than she'd suck it up and deal with the layover. its an inconveience but being there for your best friend should make it worth it. Can your fi's best friend not stand next to him as a best man but just be at the ceremony so you dont feel like your missing out that your friend isnt up there as your moh? i mean he could be the bestman but just not stand next to your dh during the ceremony.

glad you guys talked this over. and how funny that her hubby is in no matter what, i'm sure she'd change her mind especially if her hubby is going to her bros wedding. she'd kinda look like an ass if she didnt go.

i was just thinking that my resort had leis, just a thought if you really wanted the touch of color that a bout would give you maybe your resort can do a flower leis
