That's the website pic but the fan looks exactly like it minus the flower of course. I'm going to still wrap the handle. Glue the program to the front and add either a seashell or starfish right at the top of the handle.

Oh and i would wait to do the STDs until your fi is sure he can get off. I think once you find out in January and you send STDs out right away that's plenty of time for your guests. For now i would maybe mention it to people by word of mouth that you are thinking about getting married on this date in November at Dreams.

I would maybe ask if they could hold the date for you until January, maybe you could just put a $100 deposit down to hold it, that's all i had to do at my resort. This way if you can't keep that date you wouldn't lose much or they may even let you move your deposit to another date as long as you stick with Dreams. Dreams does multiple weddings in a day so i'm sure they would hold it for you. They could probably fill it easily if you canceled.

Erica and Stephanie are you guys keeping your legal ceremonies secret or telling people? So i sold the turqoise raffia fans since the color didn't match as good as i thought it would and ordered new bamboo ones yesterday. They came today, so fast. I love them. Oh and i finally ordered Derek's shirt for the wedding and the last gm shirt from weddingtropics.com so glad that's done. And my dad is finally going to meet me tomorrow to get fitted for his pants. I might try to help my mom look for a dress 2morrow too. I'm taking the day off work so i might as well do something productive. I just keep putting off cleaning my house haha.

there was a thread started by twinkletoes yesterday about the ceremony order. it had some good tips in it. for our programs we are just putting the names of our parents, bridal party, witnesses, and translator (if we have a family member do it). Oh and a small thank you for everyone that came. That's it.

I think it's great that you can do a site visit. I was really nervous when i was picking a resort wasn't sure if i was making the right decision. A site visit would of put my mind at ease. Goodluck finding your resort!

I would wear boy shorts to keep your bum covered and I would try on styles that you don't even think you would like. You never know if you'll like it until you try it on.

Sorry they were such a PITA, but they turned out great. And your guests will never now about the mistake you made.

Congratulations. I know when we first got engaged, everytime i would say fiance i would laugh afterwards. It did sound weird, but it's such a fun word to say.

Celina you just reminded me that when i started this thread and i was 6 months out, i was totally freaking out. And now is the time i should really be stressing, i have so much to do still. But i'm not really stressing. I'm more excited to be getting closer. I'm starting to gather info for my welcome packets, there more a What You Need to Know Before You Go packet since i'm handing them out ahead of time.

I don't even like Libra but felt bad for her when they made up the story about the banner.
