First it's your wedding not your fmil. She needs to back off. How does your fi feel? He really needs to talk to his mother and let her know that it's you & your fi's wedding not hers. She can't invite all these people. Giver her a limit and that's it unless she is going to pay for these people. just because it's a dw doesn't mean the reception is cheaper per person it's usually more, less people just happen to go. And she definately shouldnt be planning things like pig roasts and jacknjills without others permission. I'm not really sure what a jack n jill is but sounds like something your mom and bms should be handling. And if they wanted to ask her to help thats different.

I am doing placecards so i keep certain family members away from others haha. I'm using the photo albums that i bought as favors as placecards too: The little window that has a pic is going to be replaced with the placecard. I think i'm just doing assigned seats not tables. so i'll leave the albums on each seat instead of at a main table where people have to find the table number to sit at. I'm only having 29 people so i think it'll be easy enough for everyone to find their table. Think that will work?

Oh geez i just saw this. thanks Raeka. Everything is fine now. there were a lot of little bumps in the road, and a couple of big ones. Lately everything has been going our way, i'm saying that with my fingers crossed.

Finally got good pics of my bm dresses. This is my sis, my moh, her dress is a little tight they have to fix it. Those aren't the shoes they'll be wearing. I had Agape Gems make them barefoot sandals to match their dresses and i bought flip flops for the reception.

Girls no one has even tried to make advance plans with me. I even asked fi if he knew when my shower was to at least make sure I dress nice that day. He said he has no idea when the shower is. And i know he is telling the truth because if he knew when the shower was, he would of told me. He can't keep a secret from me to save his life. I better not be wearing sweatpants to my bridal shower, I will be so embarrased!

I have a kitchenaid mixer and they are awesome. Best xmas gift i ever got myself! hehe Well i was hoping to get my dyson vaccum but you already i saw it was bought on my registry. I'm staying 9 nights and it worked out to be $2452.40pp including airfare. For our guests going for 7 nights, it's costing them roughly $2130pp including airfare. We are flying out of Philly. the airfare was around $650pp. Our reception for 29 people is going to be about $8000. They charge you for every little thing. If you want me to email you the reception choices with costs and other wedding stuff just PM me your email and i'll forward it to you. The taxes and gratuities are 26% which is included in my $8000. I spent about $30 per OOT bag, but i one a college football pool last year so i used some of the money i won to do the OOT bags. It worked out good since fi was complaining about me spending money on the bags so i just said "I won this money and i'm using this much on the bags so there" and that was it. You could definately do really nice oot bags a lot cheaper. You could buy nice paper gift bags and glue your logo on the front of it and fill it with stuff from Oriental trading and bags of snacks and your guests would love it. Of course you don't have to do oot bags. No one will be expecting them. Oh and i did one per couple not one person, it they were single they got their own bag. Dont forget to budget things like attendant gifts, if you can get away with not having them that would solve that issue. Your wedding attire. That stuff really adds up.
