    That's nice your mom is paying for part of the trip. I'm trying to gather my photog money and my wedding band money. I think we have enough for them both now. I'm still waiting to find out how much my w-band will be.

    - no bridal or garter toss - no veil - no shoes - we aren't staying in seperate rooms the night before - no fg - no catholic ceremony - we are signing the papers with the legal judge hours before the ceremony. the ceremony will be with retired judge and technically be symbolic not legal - no rehearsal or rehearsal dinner - no 100s of relatives we hardly ever see there lol - no something blue borrowed old new

    Thanks for all the book idea, i think i mike go that route with it. Or at least get her one or two books and then maybe something else like the build a bear gift certificate. Thanks girls, i knew i could count on you guys for ideas.

    I've never heard of people giving hostess gifts for showers until this site. I guess it's not a common thing to do where i'm from. Hmmm, not sure what i will get mine, i don't have much money left so maybe just a thank you card and a really nice candle.

    We are doing the aqua package which comes with a cocktail hr or half hr. Otherwise i dont think i would have one. I've heard from a few girls it's just as easy to have your guests meet at one of the nearby bars and do cocktails there. It would probably save you a lot of dough.
