    I've cut significantly back since I moved in with fi. but here's what i get now: People Glamour Sports Illustrated Rachel Ray Brides Carribean Travel and i like buying the Us Weekly and Modern Brides. Fi is into mags as much as me, he doesn't like me telling people this but he loves to read People more than i do! And he's constantly bringing home those free home sale mags they have at grocery stores. I have piles of them at home, he never throws them out.

    ana i would focus on who you really want there like your parents and siblings. Do you know if they could afford the PPR? when i chose the PPR i knew a lot of our guests would not be able to afford to go but the people we really wanted there would go.

    Welcome to the forum. At my resort if you want a private reception you have to pay for it but if you just wanted to have a reception dinner at one of the resort restuarants not private that would be free. Goodluck with your planning!

    Okay i didn't read anyone else's responses but i can almost guarantee others have said this too: 1. You can't make everyone happy just worry about you and your fi. 2. Don't worry about who can't come, just focus on who is coming. 3. It's your wedding, do what YOU want...

    I would just stay with the PPC. I'm a PPR bride but i felt that when we were looking at resorts they were both very comparable. I think the PPC is more of a laidback party (not party hard) kind of resort and PPR is more reserved. KWIM? If i were you i would pm tami (foxytv) she had her wedding at PPC and honeymooned at PPR. Maybe you could wait a month to see if the PR goes through but i wouldn't sit around waiting 6 months for it. So are all of your guests able to stay in the timeshare or will some have to book rooms at the resorts?
