thanks yari, and all the rest of you ladies! so far it's been great, doug has to work so ali and i went to Krispy Kreme for breakfast, then after tre gets up and we have lunch (haha gotta love being 12, sleeping all day!) we are going to Coldstone for shakes! YUMMMMMMM! tonight doug and i have a wedding to go to, that will be fun, so last night they took me out to dinner at one of our favorite places in west seattle, pegasus, for pizza and cesar salad, it was so good! then we went to the husky deli for ice cream. man, i think i'm gonna gain like 5 lbs before i've been 32 for 24 hours! yikes! also they got me a new game for my nintendo DS (we dont go big for bdays) its a master chef game. hmmm, i think food will be the theme of my 32nd bday! thanks again for the birthday wishes!

wow that is such crazy news. i am glad however that your doctor discovered that it can be fixed and that it sounds like somehting that will help to make you in perfect condition for a 2010 wedding! congrats on the house, and we love long-timers on BDW so feel free to hang out as often as possible while you go thru surgery and then wedding planning! we are a great support network!

we didnt do the garter or bouquet toss. the garter toss was too creepy to us, didnt want our 80-90 yr old grandparents watching doug crawl up my dress haha, and i only had one bouquet, my BM's carried parasols and i didnt want to throw one of those

ouch that really sucks i have to ice shin splints all the time before i play soccer, man it does hurt if you dont put something between the ice and skin, but sorry, i've never gotten burned from it, so i dont have any advice, just sympathy

i love the fuschia pics, BUT i do love the idea of the darker reddish orchids. even if you are not wearing your red shoes and carrying your red purse the whole time, i like that the color theme is carried all the way thru. plus with the teal BM dresses and accents everywhere like the candles, etc, i just love the red and blue, like kate's stuff! red red red! pick red!
