i love when people from places i've never been explain their sayings/accents. it helps me picture how everyone sounds/speaks when i'm "listening" your writing! i'm from the PNW, and as far as i know, we dont say anything "weird". (ok, unless you are from somewhere that does have cool accents/sayings and thinks our are weird!) about as blah as you can get. doug and i always joke how you never hear our "accents" on movies or shows, no one thinks its interesting enough to write into a storyline. oh well! i mean really, can anyone please tell me what a "seattle accent" sounds like? B-O-R-I-N-G!

My mom watched 90210 with me, so I think it would be cute if moms can relate to this show with their young teen daughters as well. i loved summerland too and i love that the balance is pretty decent, i was worried i wouldnt like it if it was too teeny bopper, but it seems to have some "older" plots. i wondered WTH was up with harry and debbie just breezing past the whole "i have a kid" conversation. unless i missed something?? did anyone else think the long ass commercial breaks were over the top rediculous? the whole damn show would have fit into an hour. Bring back DONNA damnit! LOL wooooot! great idea!

ahhhh, kelly's son was in the part after the commercial. i sooooo want it to be brandon's, but after the way kely was talking with brenda and nat (who btw was my person i was most surprised/excited to see back!) it seemed like they were trying to downplay the whole brandon connection. like if he were telling brenda to tell kelly she is beautiful, then why would kelly have been all "he's been asking about you again" when she was on the phone with who i thought must be the dad. but then its so early, maybe they were trying to steer us away from thinking it was brandon so we will be more surprised later. also kelly told that hot teacher that her kid was like 5, but i swear he looked 7 or 8. i am so so so excited for this show! i havent had a "favorite" show that i race home for in forever, and i think this might be it! the only part i didnt like was that doug wouldnt watch it with me he was SO not into it.
