sounds nice, and no stress! i have been there, and the wooden jetty is where a ton of people snorkel to see the fish in the area, its really beautiful. im not sure which hammock area you are asking about. i know usually weddings at GBP are either in the gazebo near tulum or under the wooden one on the beach nearer to coba but since you only have a few people in your party that is probably why you were offered the jetty. i will have to come back to this but i actually have a picture of the jetty i can post. actually the link in my siggy you will find my review of the whole property until i can get that picture for you

fantastic review! sounds like everything was amazing. cant wait to see pics! as far as the illness, everyone i know across the continent had the 24 hour bug sometime during the end of december, so honestly it could have just been that! but im glad it doesnt sound like it was a horrible downer regardless of where you all picked it up.

they are all so amazing i dont think you can go wrong either way!

i think its a wonderful idea to do something different like this. anyone in your crew can do the falls on their own or in small groups, but the catamaran would be a fun idea to get out from the resort but still keep the group together!

it would probably be a good idea to get ahold of your wedding coordinator at the resort you've booked with. they can let you know ALL the details like this! also, if you are using one of our wonderful travel agents, they can be very helpful in helping to get this information as well. they may already know the answer!

i wouldnt look for someone having their wedding the EXACT same day, but it might be a good idea to find someone the same week or within a day or two. it couldnt hurt!

i have heard of brides who were able to "exchange" certain parts of the package for others, say they went with package A, but really liked a couple options from package B so the WC was able to combine them somehow. BUT i dont know if they would actually be willing to negotiate the price. hopefully someone else has had good luck with this and can share with you!

btw, do you have pics of you in your dress? i'd love to see!

ugh the dreaded 2nd dress option... to be honest, even tho i loved my dress, once i found it had a REALLY hard time not looking or trying on anymore! it was nothing like what i pictured myself in at all, but the style i loved in my head was not right on my body. in the end, im really glad i stuck with what i chose. now that im 3+ years away from the wedding tho i cant say i havent found a NEW dream dress, hmmmm maybe for a vow renewal? oops!

Hi! unfortunately i dont know of anyone to recommend BUT what about someone you know from where you live? you could offer to pay for a ticket or the hotel stay for a few days in exchange for services, maybe the rabbi would love a getaway and would jump at the opportunity! either way, good luck in your search!
