oh my, this is silly! has anyone else gone back and searched for their newbie thread? one of my friends just joined bdw (the girl who introduced doug and i her bdw name is Moeheat), and i told her she better come post her newbie thread. then i started thinking about what i had posted so long ago, haha, and i found this. its SO funny to read it again and see some names of members ive become such good friends with since then, awwwwww anyways, i just wondered how many of YOU have looked at your first post, many moons later?

YAY erin! congrats and THANK you SO much for going north of expected it means so much to us mods who on a daily basis have to merge and combine so much info that is floating around out there, there is just so much we dont get to. to have a regular member take it upon themselves to do something like this on their own time, that just freakin rocks!! we REALLY appreciate you!

i totally know how you feel, soooo torn, my kitties are my babies and i would freak out too if something were happening to them. BUT its so hard to be torn between the cost and the kitty its a very tough choice, and i know its "just" an animal as some people would say, but i think i would just bite the bullet and take him in. even if spending the money would totally break me, at least i would feel like i was doing all i could to help him. but thats me. and i totally understand if its not something you are able to do, it just so tough and such a bad choice to have to be made HUGS sweetie, i really hope he is just having a weird thing and he will be back to his old self in the morning!!

oh no thats sooo scary. do you have any 24 hour vets nearby? or an emergency vet phone number?? maybe if you call there will be a number on an answering service and the vet will come in to help.

yael, sorry this wont help you, but i just had to tell you we had our chihuahua's be our ring bearers at our BFW at home.(Big Freakin Wedding) it was so fun and everyone loved it, we even had a reading called "being in love is like owning a dog" by taylor mali, it was too too funny but at our cabo wedding we just didnt even think twice about them haha, oh well, sorry doggo's and for our cats, at our rehearsal we had our MOH and BM "walk" stuffed animal cats on leashes down the aisle in place of the dogs, it was so funny because everyone knows the cats are my babies and they werent expecting it. the stuffed animal cats looked just like my cats only stuffed. duhr.
