i was going to say the same thing as danielle, most of your guests will think of the trip as their vacation too so they might have things they are looking forward to. no need to stress over planning their vacation when you've got your wedding to plan! just let them handle it, the welcome packet idea ahead of time is a good idea. maybe just give them some ideas and let them run with it. or just plan your trip, and let everyone know what you're doing/what days/where etc and let them book their excursions and activities with you.

awwww miranda, i hadnt seen this thread before but it just warms my heart! we have a feral cat that adopted us, we call her OK for "outside kitty". its taken a year and a half but in the last couple of months i have finally gained her trust enough to scratch her really well all over her neck and head before she gets scared and swipes at me we have moving plans in the works and the plan is trying to capture her and bring her with us, because we know she depends on us for food. she is a talker too! she runs up whenever we come home, and she wont eat until i scratch her head. anyways, you are so sweet to take in GC, i really hope the vet gives her a clean bill of health so she can continue to live with you!

ooh morg you're right your hair is sooooo long now! i didnt realize its gotten so long! someone is gonna LOVE to have your hair in their wig, they will be so lucky cause its really pretty cant wait to see you short and sassy like me finally funny tho cause im growing mine out again for the winter, not long, but long enough for a pony. im sick of not being able to pull it back at work! but i love love loved having short hair all summer, so nice and cool you're is gonna be super cute, cant wait to see!

oh steph, that had to be so rough im glad you could chat with the ex about it tho, it is amazing when 2 parents can get along even if its only for the kids sake! it really helps. here is some insight from the other side i myself am a Smom, Smother, Smadre, aka bonus mom, step-mom, oops-i-slipped-and-called-you-mom and while dougs kids call me all of the above, they know in their heart who is their mommy, and who is their Abbie, if that makes sense! another thing that happens is doug will accidentally call me Nicole! oops, now that one is usually when he is mad or frustrated at me haha but seriously, the kids will call me abbie almost always, unless they want something, then its the silly version of mom, madre, mother, etc until i cave. when they call me these forms of "mom" i know they dont mean "hey you, im confused as to who loves me more" they mean "hey you, im so glad you love me as much as my mom does so sometimes the word i call you sounds the same". hope that rambling makes sense! dont stress any more over it, you know your kids unconditionally love you and always will, while their step-mom will ALWAYS have to fight for their love, thats just how it is HUGS!!

i heart jim and pam we watch massive amounts of the office on TBS reruns so i didnt even know they were together "again". i think the last current episode we watched she was engaged to someone else.

this is a subject that has been discussed many times before, and the best option ive ever heard is why dont you ask your photographer to blend it away with photoshop? also there is the option of posing in a way that will not show off that arm... ?? im going to close this thread since its subject has already been brought up many times before. lets not forget the search function! thanks!
