Yea! Another Hawaii Bride! We are planning for Hawaii, but not sure what island yet, altho' I do have to admit that I am leaning towards Maui so we can do the whole "Just Maui'd" theme! Welcome to the forum!

We initially wanted the "WOW" factor, but were convinced otherwise by our Photog. He told us about how he makes sure to set up something so he can capture us seeing each other for the first time that day and does it in a spot where no one else will be in "our moment." After that time, we will have pics with the wedding party (away from the crowd so no one will else will see us first), then the ceremony, then with family during the cocktail hour. We don't mind missing cocktail hour time since thats what we have the reception time for, and doing the wedding party and "just us" shots saves a lot of time beforehand. We wanted to maximize our 5 hours of time to get the shots we really want, and not a million shots of peoples backsides while they are dancing wasted on the dancefloor
