Yep, the 1st dress, the lace one, was the one Cali wore, she looked so pretty in it. It looks great on you as well, but DANG girl! That second dress is SMOKIN' hot on you! You look so pretty and I think if you got that one you would really wow your man. My only concern would be if your family is more conservative, Grandma might not like that it's not as modest as the lace one. I vote for the tie-back one. Looks amazing! Have fun today!

OK so I was a good girl and read the search thread about installing a font, but apparently I'm a complete blundering idiot today and I'm just not getting it. Background: I have Windows Vista. Only have MS Works Word Processor, not cool Office. I went to Download fonts | dafont.com, clicked on the download link, unzipped my file and moved it, tried to see if the font name was on the font pull down in MSWP, wasn't, read the info from dafont about troubleshooting, rebooted computer, checked again, nothing. What am I doing wrong here? I was thinking maybe MSWP won't support downloaded files, but I am a almost completely computer illiterate and don't even really know what that means. I don't want to have to spend $150 to buy Office if I can print all my invites, etc in MSWP. Please help, and thanks a million!

Just the way things go sometimes, I guess, but I am way closer with my Step MOM than my dad, I love him loads, but he is just kinda quiet, and until the last 3 years we haven't been that close. I have been moaning and groaning to Doug over this father/daughter dance that I know everyone will expect us to do, but I'm not 100% comfortable with it. I was thinking maybe Doug and his daughter could dance with us at the same time, and I really like the idea of having my dad choose the song. I think it would be a good ice-breaker to the whole are we/aren't we conversation. I do love Butterfly Kisses, and My Little Girl, but lately I have actually really liked the Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus song Get Ready, Get Set, Don't Go.

I'm wearing low top slip on Converse with the dress for my at home wedding, and no shoes for my Hawaii wedding, so I am going to have it altered with bare feet. I don't mind if the Converse show a little since they are the same shade of ivory as my dress, and also I don't want my dress to be too long on the beach. Plus the syle of my dress is poofy at the bottom so I don't really think they will show anyways.

Here's my two cents! The pics of the second dress that you couldnt try on (while a beautiful dress!) showed a very poofy dress that may not be a very good beach dress even when the poof is removed. Even tho the camera phone pics were not that great, I do love what I could see of that dress. I love the sash-thingy under the bust, so pretty. My vote is for that one!
