  1. This is how they came from Sand Blast Entertainment This is Doug hard at work starting the assembly line! (We made 50, and sending out about 25-50 of just the postcards, to the people who wouldn't care about the hard work and fun idea of the MIB STD ) Note our fancy-schmancy solution to how to pour sand into tiny bottle opening: funnel and pitcher duct-taped with plastic wrap! Closer view of assembly line: Close up of the almost finished product: Pic of the Vistaprint postcards and address labels: We just need to get some twine, roll all our postcards, tie the twine to the postcard and wind it out and around the cork, and wax them (we bought sealing wax and plumeria scented oil at Michaels), then put on the address labels and get postage. Our goal is to have them sent out by March 11, 4 months prior.
  2. Heidi, that drawing is so good! I would be so stoked to get something like that, esp the way it has the signed matting, so cool.
  3. Oh Amy, do it! And totally make sure you get pics

Esp lots in any beer, and on salads, tacos, whatever. Oh so good, these tacos sound mouthwatering!
  6. Yes, Janet, that would officially be bad. Love, your resident crazy-cat-lady.
  7. Welcome Lisa! So glad to have you!
  8. So exciting! Can't wait to see and hear all about it! Congrats!
  9. Doug's 9 yr old daughter makes me want to strangle her. She can be so sweet about 25% of the time, and the rest I just want to knock her block off. I would never ever tell him this, even tho sometimes he says it himself. I just don't think it's my place. I guess my confession is that I have a favorite child. His 12 yr old son is a doll. Whew. I actually feel better telling that to someone.
  10. I bought my dress at David's Bridal, and they sell the best bra in the world for a strapless dress. It was like $70, but so worth it. It dips low in the back, (it's the kind that covers your sides and tummy too) and the cups hold you up and together, and it is so seamless, you can't see it thru the dress at all. Also it has light boning, so it stays up with no tugging or anything, but tons of support. I don't know if you have a DB nearby but you should check it out.
  11. Wow that really sucks! I know I've heard much better things on here, and lets just hope for the future ROR brides that this was a one time catastrophe.

That way he doesn't get overwhelmed or bored. Quote: Originally Posted by JessicaLovesBrian But I mean, most guys just aren't into this sort of thing. 14. Wow you've got a lot of good ideas already for a NOv 2009 wedding! You're way ahead of the game!
  15. We're calling our second best man "Patron-of Honor" because we wanted something that matched up with "Matron", since he will be standing next to Best Man, same position as Matron, next to Maid of H. We are pronouncing it "Pah-trone" like the tequila, not "Pay-tron", and he likes this since he is a drinker!
  16. Yes I would send invites for the AHR but in your case only to the people who have for sure said no way are they going on the cruise. Sounds like you've covered the others with the STD for the AHR already.
  17. Yea! Those are so fun! I love the pic of you about to cry, you made me get all teary! So sweet. Thanks for sharing! PS your dress and cake are both beautiful!
  18. Jessica and Christine, that is so sad! Just this morning I read the article in People about Brianna, (the one with Christina Aguilera and baby on the cover) and I was so hoping to hear good news about her. That is so sad how they found her. Such a pretty girl. I hope they catch that f*%ker and cut his ba!!s off.
  19. Jaime, that's so exciting! I do have to say tho that I like your original set A LOT! I have a solitaire, and I adore it, but if I went any blingy-er it would be just like your original. So pretty!
