  1. Waaahhh Apparently I'm a Lumapix dumb a$$ as well. I can't figure this out. I need Lumapix for dummies At least I have all day tomorrow to figure it out! Yea! I love being off when no one is home, I an BDW all day, and now Lumapix too! (I hope!)
  2. Try this, at OTC: http://www.orientaltrading.com/appli...tic+Tambourine
  3. Wow Yari, way to put a stop to that! Hehe!
  4. dang it, mydivascloset.com is saying R rated on my stupid lame-o work computer no fair, rach!

  6. I'm a street size 13/14 depending on where the clothes come from, almost 5'3" and to give you all the TMI, right now I weigh about 170. I got my dress at David's Bridal, and actually ended up buying a size 14, since it has the corset back, I can adjust it as I lose weight. From the hips down there is loads of room, and I liked the way the lacing is more spread out on the back so you can see the different colored fabric detail. When you get a larger size and pull the laces tight, there's not much point to having it be a different color. (Well this is how I feel about MY dress, on ME, maybe not everyones cup of tea!) The bodice gives you great curves. Hope this helps! Oh and BTW, I'm standing on the raised platform and need major hemming to be done! I wish I was as tall as I looked in these pics!
  7. Hijack! Wow, so wait, you aren't having your legal wedding until almost a year after the one you just had? Is it hush-hush around family and friends? We are having our big wedding at home, but it will be fake, and our "real" legal marriage in HA (which is on the DL except to close family who will be there), but less than a week later. I would go crazy having to wait almost a year! At least your next 6 months will fly by! So exciting!
  8. Love the shoes, but I would go orange. They are just too cool! And you can wear them later as the bit of color in an outfit, not all matchy-matchy, but to pop!
  9. Oh no! Mines gone too Guess I'll have to go find a new one. I totally rely on it! Sad
  10. Oh no! That sucks so bad! First I would see if you can get in to a dermotologist ASAP! If they can't squeeze you in, the photog should be able to "airbrush" the pics. Hopefully someone has some better advice than this, but try not to stress about it, that will make it worse
  11. Congrats! Can't wait to hear all about it! And see pics of course!

  15. Doing great! Can't wait to read the rest and go home to see the pics!
  16. Put it on here! Someone may be looking for one just like it! And I say price it at what you feel comfortable. See if anyone else is selling anything similar out there, and then choose a price you're comfortable offering. Maybe a BDW discount at the price you paid, but ebay and craigslist at closer to retail, but at an off season price? And how dare you ask us withoout putting up a pic! Shame on you!
  17. Oh Dawn! That is awesome! I love that you got him to write it out, so special! And it's not lame at all, I love that he had a plan, it just didnt work out. Oh well! Great story!
  18. OMG those are soooo beautiful! You look awesome! No matter what, if you are self concious no one can change your own image of yourself, but I have to say, what i wouldn't give for a body like yours! You are smokin' hot. The pics turned out great and your soon-to-be is gonna love love love them! Thanks for inspiring me to do them too.

  20. I am naturally mouse brown but I always tend to box color a reddish brown. Whenever I get highlights, it ALWAYS pulls light blonde, not yellow, not orange, but not all the way white. The colorists are always surprised that I don't get brassy, even when I tell them ahead of time what will happen. They are always like "Whoa we better rinse you now!" when they check a packet. I think each persons individual hair type must also adds to the equation.
  21. I'm in! Gotta think of a book tho. Also I've never done a book club so, anyone, please feel free to fill me in if I "do" something wrong!
  22. Our box from cardsandpockets.com came! 4 clear boxes with 25 pocketfolds in each, $1.50 each card=$150 plus tax. Not bad at all! I bought the bronze text-weight paper for matting and backing, and Astroparche in natural from Paperzone, also we decided to go with clear envelopes so people will get the impact right away. We are going to wrap the invites with a ribbon belly band (Martha Stewart ribbon from Michaels), with a palm tree punch on bronze cardstock. You get the idea, this is pretty much what the finished product will look like once opened: And my girl kitty wanted to help you see the ribbon, I think she just wanted her 15 minutes of fame on BDW : I'll post the real deal later when we get them done!

So funny to watch Doug working the essembly line. I didn't want the hassle of doing something unique, but Doug "came up" with this great idea all on his own (didn't have the heart to tell him half the girls on here did these already ) and how could I argue when he was so excited! Plus he did most of the work, and they really do look great. I'm really excited to send them, and see what our family and friends have to say!
